It's definitely a need for the team. Could this be a signing like Harrison was for NE in that they get a defensive leader and a great player? Pats and Bills fans, what did we get?

One of the things it looked like the Falcons were missing last year was veteran leadership. Milloy is going to help shore up that Defensive backfield and be a team leader. A very good move by the Falcons.

As much as people don't want to believe it, our offense was pretty good last year. With another year for Jenkins and Roddy to mature, I think our passing game will take another positive step to go with the run game.

 

Our defense for a majority of the year was very poor though. This signing, and hopefully an impending Abraham deal, could make us a very stout defense.

he's a good leader, but he is slow, old and cant tackle as well anymore.

hopefully abraham will force the jets hand and trades him to atlanta for a 2nd round pick. then i'm thinking we trade down out of the 15th spot since we don't need a saftey or DE. we could trade down to the end of the 1st or early 2nd to try to pick maroney and pick up an extra pick to replace the pick dealt to the jets.

maroney - trade down

bullocks- 2nd round pick aquired by trading down

signed milloy

traded for abraham.

 

that would be a perfect draft.
