onejayhawk 3 Posted April 4, 2006 First there is Reggie Bush. then there are three QB's, then there is Mario, d'Brick, and AJ. Thar's 7 that will go first ten unless one of the QB's slides or the sky falls. From the next tier you have Vernon Davis, Ngata, Winston Justice, Huff, and Manny Lawson to mention some names that have cropped up. Everyone seems to be slotting Davis at #6 to SF and Ngata at #8 to Buffalo, both of which makes sense, but which beg the possibility of a trade down. The 49'ers in particular would be willing to take multiple picks or players at other positions. Who else has risen to this level, and who really does not belong there anymore, a la Jimmy Williams? IMO the Niners draft board is something like this: 1. Bush 2. Ferguson 3. Williams 4. Leinart--trade down (not that he'll be there anyway) 5. Hawk 6. Huff 7. Davis Most likely they get Hawk, IMO, otherwise possibly Huff, either way Davis would slide I think.
