Zap 0 Posted April 12, 2006 Link to FFToday Board Goidpankal is an acronym for Geeks Only Individual Defensive Players and No Kickers Allowed League. This was FFToday's Inaugural IDP league. This will be our 4th year. I've won 2 out of 3 so good competition will be welcome. To date this has been a free league, but discussions of a small fee, a dedicated site and a cash payout are ongoing. It is a redraft. There is turnover every year-- By Design. If you do not qualify for the playoffs, or go without a playoff win, you are not invited back (though I make exceptions to keep good competition). It's a 12 teamer. No divisions. Top 4 qualify for the championship playoff bracket. 5-8 qualify for the invitational playoff bracket. 25 man IDP rosters. Start 15-- QB, 2RBs, 3WRs, TE, 2DLs, 2LBs, 2DBs, 2DFlex Bench 10-- Can roster any number of players at any position. No kickers allowed. Scoring is standard performance based. A 25 round draft is a 4 hour commitment. We draft live as close to the opener as possible considering everyone's schedule. Flexible schedules are helpful. There is a short screening process, typing test, psychological evaluation and Wonderlic. We prefer experience with IDPs, but a couple IDP rookies serious about learing the other side of the LOS have done fine. If interested, click the link above and follow the simple instructions.
