CA_7 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Looks like all these guys might have RBBC situations in 06. Bush has a good chance to be the feature because of Deuce's knee but I still think they use him a lot on special teams so that might take away from touches on offense. IMO their redraft values all took a hit today. If Addai lands in Indy in a couple of picks he is going to shoot up my board compared to those three. Also interested to see what Denver does. Norwood? devildog 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Bush was going to be in a RBBC anyways. Doesn't mean he still can't put up stud numbers. I think he'll work best with 200-250 carries rather than 300+.
NJJoe20 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I'm taking Williams over Bush with the 1.1 my rookie draft IF Williams ends up in Indy. 1500 yards and 10 TD's with the potential to put up better numbers in the Indy system. Bush will split carries with Deuce until they can cut him, which will not happen until 2008.

However I don't see Bush get much more than 200 carries although 60-70 receptions is very likely to help his numbers.

Barnaby Wilde 0 Posted April 29, 2006 So how do you rank the big 5 RBs now that they have all been selected? I think I'd go: 1. Bush, NO 2. Addai, Ind 3. Williams, Car 4. White, Tenn 5. Maroney, NE
Zone Blitz 0 Posted April 29, 2006 I think Bush is in a good situation even if Deuce is full strength. I think it is unrealistic to think Bush is a every down back. Deuce will help to carry the load but Bush will stilll get his touches. I think he can be marshall faulk like and Deuce can make Bush's game changing ability even more effective. famousb 11 Posted April 29, 2006 So how do you rank the big 5 RBs now that they have all been selected? I think I'd go: 1. Bush, NO 2. Addai, Ind 3. Williams, Car 4. White, Tenn 5. Maroney, NE i'll switch it to (and this is just for this year): 1. DWilliams - Car. even if they are all RBBC, i think Williams gets the most opportunities once Foster goes down on his 2nd carry of the year. 2. Addai - Indy. he could potentially end up w/ 1800+ total yds, but will be limited to <10 tds, much like Edge was his whole career in Indy. There is a VERY slim chance that he could get double-digit TDs 3. Bush - NO. Incredible player - YES. Incredible Talent - YES. Incredible fantasy stud - ?? he could very possibly turn into a glorified version of a Warrick Dunn or Tiki Barber in his earlier years. Until he bulks up, he'll never be out of RBBC which keeps him in fantasy he!!. 4. White - TEN. definite RBBC, and work ethic issues. His biggest plus is that he'll be back w/ Norm Chow. But that may not help all that much... 5. Maroney - NE. Dillon could get hurt and Maroney could see his carries jump, but i believe i read somewhere that Dillon was remotivated and refocusted this year. which will result in Maroney spending alot of time on the bench.
