Been watching all these dumfocks on TV getting busted for trying to hook up with underage girls. You know, if I really was a pedophile, it would be great info on what NOT to do. Once the girl tells you she's 14 ... true or not ...get out. There have been 19 year olds prosecuted for having sex with 17 year olds ... and that's crazy. If you are over 18, you are an adult and they are a minor, and your intent is there in black and white. Scary stuff. Gotta ask for ID at my age. Even if they say they are 21, and they are really 17, with a fake ID ... I think I could still get in trouble ... even if I honestly couldn't tell and didn't know. Not sure, but it's all a defense attorney's dream ... that's for sure.

You know the feeling you have when you go all in with a suited Jack, King of clubs and your opponent shows Bullets ... pocket Aces, one a club ... and you just know you are screwed?

 

Imagine that times about a million. Yer trying to have sex with a teenage girl .... and you end up arrested and on TV being called a pedophile.

There are smart pedophiles out there. Real predators ... and real victims and that's where the system can't help, and parenting needs to take charge. It's hard to say these "stings" are preventing abuse, with any kind of real data.

 

There are also photographers, like David Hamilton, who regularly photographed young, nude models that survive under the guise of art while a similar photo is called child porn ... so where do you draw the line?

There is a famous nude art model, Eva Ionesco, and her mother Irene Ionesco, started taking shots of her at a pre-pubescent age, and sometimes fairly graphic, but never showing any direct sexual content. There was at one time, a huge controversy in the art world over that subject when the cops showed up to shut down her show in a gallery, but I think she was never formally charged with a crime. Setting a precident about child pornography vs. art.

 

In other words, if I go to a nude beach and take a picture of the whole place .. and somwhere in the photo is a topless 1 year old girl .... that's not child porn. It's defining where it crosses the other side of the line that's blurry and I anticipate a lot more legal battles over specific rights ... but it's a hard position to defend!

Kiddy porn ... or art? I know it's bad politics ... but I gotta vote for art. Google David Hamilton ... remember the move Blue Lagoon with a 14 year old Brooke Shields? Times have changed in 20 years .. and it's more uptite and more critical, and there's MONEY ... if you were molested by the right church.

 

So how many people, for whatever reason, be it money, or revenge, or whatever have come out and said, "Yeah ... so and so molested me ... so I want my cut."

 

Do you think it's possible INNOCENT clergy were convicted? I said ... POSSIBLE. Of course it is.

 

So how do you address this? Legally.

The answer is you are innocent until proven guilty ... get a good lawyer, but you wouldn't be the first 19 year doing time for statutory rape.
