Top 3 pick are given.....

Recommended Posts

#6 pick ...we all know top 3 picks are easy...after that its a crap shoot...everyone has edge at #4 (which i think is too high) and after that we have CP, tiki, rudi and lamont

i have the #6 pick and i will have a choice of CP, Tiki or rudi....who would be better?

CP & Tiki might be off the board by pick #6.

Take either Edge, CP, or Tiki. If someone selects another player and more than one of these three fall, I like in this order:

Tiki, CP, Edge.

I don't think Carson Palmer should be a consideration in the top 10. :-)

i'm going out of the box and going w/ Lamont at #6, right before Tiki at #7...

w/ the go-deep OAK offense, the WR threats that can run it and the QB who has an arm to throw it makes it tough for opposing D's to stack men at the line. So not only will he can some more running room, but he'll also get a ton of receiving yards out of the backfield.

I look for Tiki to slide slightly (not alot, just slightly... there is a VERY short list of RBs who have had back-to-back 1800+ yd running seasons, and i don't see Tiki getting on that list...)

Since taking on the role of feature back in 2002 Tiki Barber has done quite well for fantasy owners. Based on his stats over those 4 seasons, his 2006 numbers project to:

2036 total yards 10 TDs

If we base his projected 2006 numbers soley on his tenure as feature back for Tom Coughlin, then we get:

2243 yards 13 TDs

Portis has been a featured back for 4 seasons. Based on his career, Portis projects for:

1764 yards 12 TDs

If we only use Clinton's tenure as Joe Gibb's featured back in Washington, then he projects for:

1641 yards 9 TDs

Rudi's 2006 projected numbers:

1543 yards 12 TDs

I think its pretty clear who the better option is. I believe Tiki should be the 4th or 5th rated player in any and all fantasy drafts. If it is a PPR, then its even more obvious as he will get you between 50-60 receptions.

Portis, Lamont, Tiki, Ronnie, Caddy, SJax, Rudi...etc.

I like all of them.

Edge should go before 7 (whish is good for you)

So you only need to rank 2 guys.

Portis stands out to me here. Id rank him 1 of 2.

The last guy is really hard to figure. Its one not ready to be figured. You'll figure it out.

Id probably go Caddy or Ronnie Brown.

Big 3

Edge

You should get:

Portis

Caddy or Brown. (im torn)

Hell with any other position. If you pass, you need to go RB at your 3rd rd. pick and you might not like what you see.
