Chester Taylor

I would say that Minny, investing in Hutch, is looking to run the ball at a bear minimum, more than they have in the recent past. "Run-Heavy" not sure how to quantify that into actual carries per game, suffice to say that it could very easily be around 25 touches per game to the featured back. I would also say that, considering they had MeMo on the cheap and still targeted, signed and payed CTaylor is an indication that they see something in him, not so much MeMo. Childress DID want to run the ball more here in Philly. Reid is more of a passing guy than Childress. That being said, their main guy is Westbrook, who is a great receiving back. His offset, Correll Buckhalter has been injured early in the season, or pre season for the last 3 years. Westy is great but hes not a guy that can pound it up the middle a ton. Whatever. Chester Taylor, I think is going to be a very good RB2 and if he clicks with the team and they design some good plays around him and Hutch I think he can be a good RB1. Add in the fact that you can prolly pick him up a full round later than guys that he could possibly out-produce, and he is a very good pickup.

The rumor posted is just that a rumor. I agree with Scooter that it holds no water, and is not what I would consider to be very helpful. That being said, it s a free site, if nichi feels that he is posting decent info or merely wants people opinions, no harm.

I would also like to add, if you are going to plan any aspect of your draft based on a rumor posted on this or any other site in early June you are a nob and should get a new hobby.

So at the end of the day, zero human beings on this planet can confirm that Chesta is out of shape?? Not even a pic??

Let us know when that count gets to one.

Let's put some logic, history in here.

One thing all of you are missing in this thread is that Childress did not do the play calling in Philly, Reid did.

Next, Philly did not have a between the tackles RB.

Childress worked at WI for Alverez. Uh, RB U. He knows the value of a strong running game. He has a mistake minimizing, veteran QB in Johnson. Play action anyone?

Childress went out and got Hutch to team with McKenzie (see Seattle, Alex). A pattern is forming.

Minn signed C taylor to a big contract immediately when FA began. Hmmmm, why isn't this a no-brainer for people? C Taylor will be on my team this year.
