remote controller 143 Posted July 1, 2006 How would you attack the draft? List best case and worst case from this list. http://www.footballguys.com/06dodds_adp.php
Kellys Heroes 0 Posted July 1, 2006 I like either the front 4 or the back 3 this year. I always hated the middle.
sharkie22 0 Posted July 1, 2006 First, I wouldn't want to be 12th. After looking at a draft from this position (10 - 11) it looks like it's fair to say you can pretty much draft based on who you consider the best players available. If it were me I'd be fine with RB/WR/RB/WR/RB/WR and then QB but if somehow I saw a definite improvement in Buffalo on defense and rushing or D Davis immediately became healthy and suffered no set backs throughout camp and the preseason I'd be OK with two backs then a couple receivers. Either way I'd want my third back no later than the fifth round. I tried it a couple ways and one early portion of a roster was something like Rudi or Caddy/ C Johnson or Holt/ C Taylor or Droughns/ Bell or Foster/ Driver or Mason and another was Rudi or Caddy/ McGahee or D Davis/ Wayne or Ward/ Burress or Driver/ F Taylor or Rhodes just looking at the first five rounds. Depending what the preseason brings either way it's not a bad position to draft from. This would be my best case scenario. Worst case would be taking a back in the second round without either team having raised your confidence in where they're at and having to rely too much on your third back as a starter. Pretty much comes down to more or less the same list of players. I hope I understood your question and this answer helps a little? or were you looking for a more in depth potential draft that is more specific? I did both but don't have the time to post the more potentially specific one. Good luck whatever you do.

9-Route 0 Posted July 1, 2006 looking at the list, the options which i saw were (based upon fluctuation of +/- 2-4 positions on the list): qb---manning (pos 11-14), palmer/brady (pos 35-38), bulger/culp/mcnabb/delhomme/eli (58-63) hb---west/domdavis/caddy/mcgahee (11-14), bush/addai/ctaylor/dunn/tbell/dillon (35-38), ftaylor/cmartin/cbrown/agreen (58-63) wr---moss/TO/mharrison/fitz/boldin (11-14), burress/ward/wayne/roy w/smoss (35-38), tjhoush/branch/ebans/galloway (58-63) some ideas and combinations are: 1. manning-domdavis-bush-addai-tjhoush-galloway 2. manning-westbrook-burress-bush-ftaylor-tjhoush 3. westbrook-domdavis-burress-ward-bulger-culp 4. moss-westbrook-bush-burress-culpepper-delhomme 5. manning-moss-bush-addai-culpepper-tjhoush [ very intriguing indeed] 6. moss-TO-bush-addai-culpepper-.....[ who cares what i get at 6th----this is potentially sick!!! ] it depends upon what your rendition of a "serviceable hb" is. if you can tolerate the guys at the 3rd/4th rd swing (positions 35-38), then you can try to pair up super wrs or manning (if he falls) with super wr; if not, pair up hbs first, and then fill the wrs, as there seems to be a lot of value getting qb as late as 5th/6th rds (picks 58-63).
