How well did I draft?

10 team yahoo league. 1pt for 50 yards passing an 6pt per td. rushing and receiving 1 pt for 20 yards and 6pt per td.

 

1. (2) L. Tomlinson RB (I chose over LJ because I like his out of conference schedule a little better and Penn State running back curse and losing Richardson)

2. (19) R. Brown RB

3. (22) R. Moss WR (other available were westy, dd, gates, ward and mcgahee)

4. (39) Ro. Williams WR (santana moss and warrick went after him before my next pick)

5. (42) J. Lewis RB (KJ, walker, driver, djax and shockey were also available; hoping he returns to old form)

6. (59) J. Addai RB (hoping he becomes #1 dont think it to that big of a risk because I'm pretty solid otherwise at back)

7. (62) K. Warner QB (played 10 games injured in 2 and had 5 300+ yard performances can be very serviceable)

8. (79) C. Cooley TE (just missed out on heap, mcmichael, witten in the previous round also last good TE available)

9. (82) A. Green RB (like lewis hoping he returns to old form and in a weak division with weak out of conference schedule if performs could be good trade)

10. (99) D. Bledsoe QB (IMO a steal at this point: TO, glenn, witten can find the endzone)

11. (102) M. Muhammad WR (actually accidentally picked him hear but I like having him and I like his schedule, keysuckass was also available)

12. (119) T. Glenn WR (best wideout left could have another big year)

13. (122) Atlanta DEF

14. (139) D. Akers K

15. (142) Philadelphia DEF (I think with bunkley, and signing howard and their d being healthy they will produce many sacks and turnovers again) underrated this year

 

I dropped the Atlanta defense and added deangelo williams from free agency. maybe foster will get injured early and will be tradeable.

 

Where is my team weak and strong? What could I improve for my next draft? Do I have a chance at winning my league?

Moss going at #22 is actually sooner that he is going in most drafts and Ronnie Brown slipping to #19 is not that big of a stretch. Brown hasn't even got a full season under his belt and he is hyped as a top 10 pick. KJ and JJ had the same hype going for them last year and they both screwed over a lot of owners. This draft is not much out of the ordinary...so think before you speak and criticize others! There are too many people on this board that jump all over people with put-downs and name calling without having anything intelligent to say(reminds a lot of Howard Dean, John Kerry and the rest of their left wing extreme crowd )

This draft is not much out of the ordinary...so think before you speak and criticize others! There are too many people on this board that jump all over people with put-downs and name calling without having anything intelligent to say(reminds a lot of Howard Dean, John Kerry and the rest of their left wing extreme crowd )

I'm not encouraging "rate my team" posts as you say...It is a fact that there are too many anal people on this board with nothing intelligent to say except get all over people...Is it really that hard to say "looks like a decent team, but please post on the other board"????????I don't think so.

Scooter, why don't you take a few of your anal friends from this board and start a new one. Things would be much better around here. I'm done on this topic...but I'm sure you aren't since you always have to have the last word so you can feel good about yourself...wow
