Bottles 0 Posted July 19, 2006 So I'm ranking RBs, looking at lists figuring projections, and after ranking the top 30 rbs, I'm pretty sick of it, I also am not sure it's worth it to continue projecting for bench players/backups. Instead, I figured I would just ask, after your starters are drafted, who are you looking for your 3, 4 and #5 backs? Any backups who you think are especially likely to flourish? Who are you targeting to fill up your bench in the mid/late rounds?

Mad Matt 0 Posted July 19, 2006 um...jamal could be a #2. I agree, but the man said possible #3's. If you go RB, RB, RB, he would be the top of my list. Thanks in advance for your list.
lguero1 4 Posted July 19, 2006 I have these guys ranked after #24 in my RB list. I am looking at getting one of these guys and handcuffing one of my studs. Bye weeks play a major role in who i'll take. CuMar Deuce (it is his job to lose and Bush is being picked over him) starter in Green Bay (wait for green, gado, or davenport to rise to the top) Rhodes (Addai being drafted ahead of him) C. Brown if 1 of top 2 has early bye Taylor he is in incredible shape this year Foster if one of my studs has early bye (handcuff with D. Wms but i don't expect much out of D. Wms.) Gore/Barlow i might blow both RB 3 & 4 on these two depending on top 2 Bell/Dayne (i wouldn't play shanahan's mind games with one of my top 2 RBs but possibly as 3 & 4) I've got dillon on the cusp of top 24 and if they take bush, or addai earlier, dillon would be solid as rb 3 w/ maroney the rb 4 handcuff. Money Ball 0 Posted July 19, 2006 Ah-ha, the great Corey Dillon is gonna help run me to victory time and time again. Maroney just needs to wait his turn.
GBFAVRE4 0 Posted July 19, 2006 I think Davenport will be in there for Green before too long......
hipcheck 0 Posted July 19, 2006 Not sure I read the thread correctly, but I think BETTS qualifies. Obviously he is a great hand-cuff w/ PORTIS... and he isn't even being drafted in the Mocks' I've done so far. (Suposedly BETTS has been impressive in the mini-camp/ota's). MARION BARBER- This kid is very under-valued, when PARCELLS "likes/trusts" a player, guaranteed he will be involved heavily in the red-zone game-plan. others: F.TAYLOR (very crowded backfield in JAX, but I'm going to take a shot w/ TAYLOR this season) V. MORENCY T.J. DUCKETT S.GADO M.MOORE R.MOATS Good Luck !!!! .
