This kid is going to be a monster. He's an athletic freak. One NFL scout says he is the most athletic backer he's seen since LT. High praise. Just needs to keep on the straight and narrow.

I just read some similar articles. Don't know how much is smoke, but basically every coach he's ever had says he's best they've ever seen. Also read a few quotes from Brooks himself where it sounds like he's authentically determined to mature.

Hope he stays out of trouble.

I went to high school with him (a year younger) and now I go to Virginia Tech. It's weird cause I was really hoping he would go to Tech but he decided to go to UVA. I still rooted for him there but after the last couple of seasons I wouldnt put to much faith in him.

In high school he wasnt the brightest guy (but what football player in high school is?) but he didnt get into trouble. Then at UVA he was dominant but then for some reason he slacked off. He gained a lot of weight and was sluggish. He had everything then threw it away. I also dont think he was kicked off just for marijuana...but I cant say much because Im not in the "know".

Anyways, it's nice to see that he's seemed to turn it around and it's nice to see him doing well. I think it would have probably been better for him to go to a smaller market though.

damn I heard he weighed in at like 290 lbs at some point around the combines! I heard he was severly out of shape. I wonder how he is going to do in camp. He was one of the top Pro prospects at LB a couple years ago this was before you heard much talk about AJ Hawk.

Right out of Waterboy. "Needledick, Needledick..."

Eh, everyone has to adjust their own way to the pro game. Look how Lavar Arrington was such a bad ass coming out of school and then translated into an "ok" pro.

Lavar had that same highlight play at PSU.
