Just got the #1 pick in the Draft, need some advice

I hope some read this as I have learned this is a very quailty board.

 

I recently got the #1 pick in our draft which is in 2 weeks. The bad part is that it's a tur around draft, which means I will then get pics 24 and 25.

 

The scoring is 1 point for every 20 yards a QB throws and 6 Points for TD

RB gets a point every 10 yards and 6 for a TD

Now a WR gets a point per Rec, 1 point every 10 yards, and 6 for a TD.

 

Now my question, who should I draft? I got it narrowed between Manning, LJ, SA, Smith, and Fitz.

If your league likes to trade, see what you can get for it. Last year I turned the #3 and a bunch of 4-6 into the #6,8, and 11 picks. Unfortunately a death in the family forced me to give away the team before the draft, and the new owner traded down to get more consistent picks.

Well, if you are asking who you should draft with the #1 pick, then you can take Manning, Smith, and Fitzgerald off of the list. LJ, LT, or Alexander. Pick one of those three.

or you could really mess with everyone and draft Gates first then chicago second.

the pick HAS to be a tier 1 RB and only 3 fit the bill

LT, LJ, and SA

it is mostly preference of those but LJ is the popular choice for #1

 

i beg to differ and have them SA - LT - LJ

again, preference rules here but your choices are one of those

 

Manning is out, Fitz and Smith would be a 'cross your fingers and hope for the best' for your second pick... dont get your hopes up though

Is this your first year playing fantasy football or are you really this dumb. Dont mean to bash you but this could be one of the dumbest threads I have ever seen. If you take a WR first overall and pass on LJ you should not be allowed to play ever again.

take shawn or portis yes portis.shawn is a safe pick and portis is more a risk.lj will dissapoint.

Manning is a stretch, but with the RB situation he may throw alot this year...

 

The way the scoring is, the WR could be your highest score.. Remember they get REC points, RB don't.

This is a possibilitythat LJ will disappoint - especially considering new coaches/system, line losses, new FB, Priest back to share, no receivers except Gonzo. Go with SA.
