OriginalMonkeyBoy 0 Posted August 15, 2006 details: 10 team, starting roster keeper (1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1K, 1D) I am looking at getting a QB for the future of my team this year. I think there is a good crop of QB's, with these three being the best. Leinart - below average O-line, 2 elite WR's and stud RB. Missed training camp, but will probably be starting by midseason cuz of Warner's injuries Young - I'm thinking he will be starting sooner, rather than later. Decent O-line, 1 decent WR and an unstable RB situation. More 'vick-like' than the other two. Rivers - Most experience. Knows his players. below average WR's, but arguably the best RB/TE combo in the league. (a QB's best friend). decent O-line and a system where QB's can succeed. I'm leaning towards making Rivers my pick, but the Fitz-Boldin-Edge combo really has me thinking. Will Leinart be another Leaf? Another Harrington? I'm looking for FF numbers, not superbowl rings. Any thoughts? leave a link and I'll answer yours. My current Keepers - Roethlisberger, Deuce, Portis, Moss, Horn, Harrison, Graham, Atlanta D My picks this year - 1.1, 2.6, 2.9, 3.5, 3.9, 4.2, 5.2, 5.7 (8 round draft)
c_Weezie 3 Posted August 15, 2006 Unless your in a 16 Team League I wouldnt even consider Leinart or Young. However I think Phillip Rivers would be a decent #2 QB in leagues w/ 12 or more teams.

I think all three of them have huge value in a Dynasty league. In a straight up keeper league I'd give the Edge to Rivers just because he's 2 years ahead of Young and Leinert even though none have started a regular season NFL game. Rivers also looked sharp in the pre-season game this last week.
