rottytiny 7 Posted August 16, 2006 My league is Standard scoring. No PPR. 12 teamer. Start 2 RB and 3 WR; Heres what I may be looking at: Rudi, SJax, Jordan, Caddy, Edge, Portis(may fall, worth it at 8??) Also, in the second round grab a stud WR or my 2nd RB? I usually go RB-RB-WR but the second round RB's don't thrill me this year. I'm thinking Chester in the 3rd or FWP if he makes it that far. What do you think? Thanks in advance, I'll hit yours. "IF" those guys are there, I rank them like this: Portis (despite the shoulder, I still think thats the pick - Where's Tiki at though? gone earlier??) SJax Edge (I'd have a hard time taking caddy above him) Caddy Rudy LJordan (could be good, but never did much as a backup, and last year the Raiders jelled more if thats possible)
rottytiny 7 Posted August 16, 2006 Tiki won't be around at 8, he'll probably go #4. If he is I'll grab him without question. picks 5 through 7 are a crap shoot so I am just putting who may be there a 8.

Agreed, but if Portis is there at 1.8, I'd take him worry free (relatively)
Bottles 0 Posted August 16, 2006 Porits - don't be scurred Edge Jordan SJax Rudi/Caddy http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=221276
rottytiny 7 Posted August 17, 2006 Edge could be a steal or could kill your RB's. Hopefully as draft gets closer Portis's condition will be known. Does he get taken out more for Betts to try and save wear and tear on that shoulder??? If he gets the carries hes golden but will they limit him? Picking in the middle really sucks this year, all the Rb's are about the same but they all have major ??? too. I guess gamble on the guy with the biggest upside?? Edge?? philly81 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Portis would be a steal at that point. If not him. Steven Jackson. I believe he is set up for a big year. Either way a really nice way to start.

Porits, Rudi, Caddy, S Jax, Edge, Jordan. Since your league starts 3 WR's I'd go for a stud WR in the second round and take your second RB in the 3rd. I rank Edge so low because I don't have faith in Arizona's O line and if they're playing form behind a lot, which looks like the case, edge won't be a factor in the running game, same goes for Jordan
