badassbroncs 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Im in a league that rewards 6 pts for passing tds and 1 pt /25yds, whos the better QB to take, McNabb or Bulger ? thanx for the help!
leftyguitar 0 Posted August 24, 2006 i give the edge to Bulger. he's got a great schedule, and some good guys helpin him out, you might know em... Torry, Isaac, and Steven? please see my post: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=223779
gatorbait7391 0 Posted August 24, 2006 Had this same problem and i took mcnabb. it was tough but he looks great in the preseason and am happy with it. stl offense is run first now and bulger is injury prone. I know mcnabb had the hernia last year but he is fully recovered and not had any injuries prior that i know of. but cant go wrong with either.
aauhoops33 0 Posted August 24, 2006 id say bulger b/c just look at both qb's supporting casts: westbrook, brown, and pinkston just dont compare to holt, bruce, and sjax. maybe im crazy but id take bulger for sure
sick_n_tired 0 Posted August 24, 2006 hoops said it all - who is McNabb throwing to? Iggles will be lucky to win 4 games this year. Bulger definitely. please help! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=223935
bonkbonk 5 Posted August 24, 2006 Im for Bulger with everyone else. But is there another choice? Bulger likes to get banged up a bit. C-Pep and Delhomme look better to me, maybe get them a round later too. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=223934
TheDudeMrB 0 Posted August 24, 2006 I agree... I am looking at Delhomme as a more stable option - he's got Steve Smith & Keyshawn. His RB's are talented too. I also like the potential for Daunte, Randy, and Chambers to hook up with Brown in the Miami mix. My league awards .05 points per passing yard. TD's are worth 4 - 10 points (depending on yardage bonus). Interceptions however, are worth -2.0 points. Bulger (2005) 14 TD/ 9 INT - his longest bomb was only 57 yds Delhomme (2005) 24 TD/ 16 INT - he dropped an 80 yard bomb! Culpepper (2003) 25 TD / 11 INT - 59 yard TD strike Culpepper (2004) 39 TD / 11 INT - 80 yard rocket TD missile Culpepper (2005) 06 TD / 12 INT - 67 yard TD *7games The Vikings were a mess last year in many ways and the loss of Moss affected Culpepper's value. However, Culpepper will give Chris Chambers a chance to breakout in a more stable and talented environment. Culpepper is pretty accurate. Not many QB's average 11 INT / season and have the upside of 20, even 25 + TD's. Last season Favre fell to me late in the draft and I also acquired Byron Leftwich. These guys drove my fantasy team nuts although I do like Byron. I don't want a QB who will put my team on a roller coaster ride this year. I can't get Peyton or Brady. I like Carson Palmer's potential but I think Culpepper has a better chance coming off his injury than Palmer despite the cadavers used in his surgery. Culpepper has had more time to heal.
