HowieWan 0 Posted August 31, 2006 Anyone who lands CJ for less than a top-tier player has done well. Good trade (for you)
dats007 1 Posted August 31, 2006 Agreed! You just made a significant upgrade at WR for very little. This trade get's a whole lot better if Maroney get's some PT. What's everybody in your league saying about it? I'd bet there are some upset owners.

What's everybody in your league saying about it? I'd bet there are some upset owners. The person I made a bet with for week one wants to back out of the bet. I told them fine. but I have had 3 people say they didnt like it. But they are cool with it cause the guy I traded them too will be starting bledsoe and driver most weeks. But in our league a trade only takes 1 other owners and one of the two people with commision rights to agree to it. Done deal. It only happened about an hour ago so im sure to be hearing crap the rest of the day.
mggoilers 0 Posted August 31, 2006 If this is a keeper league, great trade. re-draft it's a win-win. For the other owner: Driver should put up 1200 yards, 6-8 TD's Bledsoe should be just as productive and maybe more than McNabb Mike Bell could break-out good luck, I acquired CJ in my keeper league. Gave up Brady/Plax for CJ/2nd rounder. Both teams are very happy
gobuckeyes 0 Posted August 31, 2006 Anyone who says Mike Bell will "break out" this year is kidding themselves. He could be a productive fantasy back, but best case scenario for him are similar numbers to Anderson last year (1000 yrds, 10 tds). And many things are up in the air for that right now. His overall talent is questionable since he has not won the job outright against a hodgepodge of backs we know are second tier. His only benefit is the DEN offense. Overall I have to say you did very well for yourself. CJ is probably the top fantasy reciever out there, and with palmer healthy you can expect big things.
