I was offered T. Jones/Matt Jones -for- D Driver/T Henry

I was offered this trade.....I really don't know if I want T Jones and I'm not sure if he would help my team at all. Should I maybe go after 1 of his other backs? Should I just stya put for now? I really like my WR group and I think Driver will have a really good yr. I will probably start Portis and Taylor most weeks. My concern is that one of them goes down (with Portis already being hurt).....then I would have to start C Brown

 

Is T Jones an improvment over Brown......do you think either Brown or Henry will be traded so hold on to them??

unless its a keeper league, i wouldnt do it. Donald Driver gets too many touches from Brett. not to keep him. Travis Henry still as an upside in the fact that he could end up starting in Tennessee Chris Brown is traded (rumor). Thomas Jones is good, and has a bit more upside than Henry, because he will probably see carries in every game, but his work will be limitied.

 

You did a very good job of handcuffing Chris Brown and Travis Henry together, don't split them up.

i'd take that but probably would've drafted differently, not necessarilly better just more to my taste, and wouldn't be in that spot.... i like jones' situation way more than henry's... to me it's not as close as most think, but this is one of those coin flips and wouldn't take a packer and money this year... matt jones has way better upside to me. others'd say the pack will always be losing and airing it out... that's rarely proven a strong enough argument to provide significant statistical improvement even if it proves true. what's to keep the other team from doubling driver while farve throws the defense the ball? if you're thinking differently give him bryant...

I wouldn't do that deal either. Even if you have to start Chris Brown a few weeks, while Portis gets healthy, I don't think its worth the downgrade from Driver to Matt Jones. Driver's in store for a very good year, and so he'd be getting the best player in the deal. You just need to win more than you lose to make the playoffs, when you're going to want the best possible players starting for you. Driver is one of those kinds of guys.
