davidcrone83 0 Posted September 2, 2006 OK, I think this may finall be my break through year. League is pretty standard with 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 Def weekly. Bonus points for out of position play (i.e. 1 1/2 times the points if a QB gains running yardage or runs in a TD, or a RB catches a TD, etc.) Mike Vick Jon Kitna LaDanian Tomlinson Reggie Bush Frank Gore D'Angelo Williams Santana Moss Matt Jones Reggie Brown Jerry Porter Antonio Gates Marcedes Lewis Jeff Wilkins Olindo Mare NY Giants SD Chargers Thanks for the opinions in advance! unclemercy 53 Posted September 2, 2006 yeah, i dunno what the board looked like first through fifth rounds but with the exception of tomlinson it's hard to tell you even had those picks. your quarterback and wideout situation is pretty grim... maybe ladainian'll get forty a game. you may consider packaging for slight downgrade number one runner and upgrade to true one at wideout. after that i'd comb the wire for a new qb... and if all else fails spend time playing golf will discuss further if you'd like.... unclemercy should've asked... redraft, right? k9tofive 0 Posted September 2, 2006 No offense but I think it is goign ot be another tough season. IMO I disagree. If you notice he gets 1 1/2 TIMES the normal points for an "out of position" play. Vick is good for ~15-19 passing TDs and another 7-10 RUSHING TDs = 25-34 TDs which is a Top 5 QB. Reggie Bush could end up being a RECIEVER, so that ALONE could be a BONANZA. And LT is def a part of the passing offense. Out of the 8 quality players (Barber, Edge, S Jax, Westbrook & possibly L Jordan) or so that could benefit from this scoring system you got 3 of them. I think it will work out for you.
p.man 7 Posted September 2, 2006 It's not all that bad considering your league scoring. But I would always be looking to upgrade the Wr slot. And I might think about dropping Lewis to pick up the best remaining Qb out there. I'd worry about the bye week later. Good Luck!
mrgymrat 0 Posted September 2, 2006 Maybe LT throws for more TD's than last year. I agree with some of the others, expect to be average.
racegirl 0 Posted September 2, 2006 There's some young, decent talent out there that I'm sure hasn't been picked up. Ernest Wilford - most drafts didn't include him on rosters. Watch for Jeramy Stevens' return from his knee injury - monitor his rehab. For a few ff points, pick up Tab Perry well, maybe not Sep 1 Mark Curnutte, of the Cincinnati Enquirer, reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Tab Perry (calf) suffered a bruised calf and was forced to leave the team's preseason finale Friday, Sept. 1. Never mind.....
lguero1 4 Posted September 2, 2006 look for some help at WR2 but yes with your funky scoring, you might be a contender. good luck. when did you draft kickers and defense?
