swanny 0 Posted September 2, 2006 I offered Laveraneus Coles for Ben Watson. He countered with Jamal Lewis & Ben Watson for Frank Gore & Tony Scheffler..... the league is a PPR league. Should I go for the trade? Thanks in advance. lguero1 4 Posted September 2, 2006 i really like watson this year but not for gore. ride out winslow. also, think about the #2 in NO, he qualifies for TE since he played there in college but he is lining up at WR2 across from horn, marques colston.
FirstDownSyndrome 0 Posted September 2, 2006 No way. I'm big Watson believer this year, but not at that price. I think he has a mediocre team, don't help him out by giving him a starting RB with Gore's talent. Ride out your TEs and play the wire if you have to. Son of Squirrel 0 Posted September 2, 2006 I disagree. I think you should make this trade. Gore seems to be the next Deshaun Foster. All the potential in the world, but will get hurt. Gore already has the long injury history. I don't think he can do it over the long haul. Roll the dice and get a TE with equal immense potential that can be top 5 in future, without injury history. Your starting RBs are excellent. Taylor is ok. Maybe take Jamal after the trade and move him for some younger back. (Or maybe just get Norwood and Watson instead.) Ben Watson should have a very solid year, if not an excellent year. Trade for him...you have very good depth at RB so you could give up someone there in the trade.
