12 Team League... Who to start? - Will respond to yours

Okay... Basical rules performance scoring with fumble/int (-2) penalties. Must start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/K/DST. Here is my team - drafted in slot 3, 12 team snake:

 

QB - Brees and Big Ben

RB - LT2, Gore, Addai, T. Bell

WR - Holt, Burress, D. Branch, A. Bryant, S. Parker, T. Williamson

TE - Watson

K - Nugent (Working on picking up Ackers - FAAB)

DST - Broncos

 

So my team isn't horrible, but I'm not sure where I'm leaning... Big confusion with RB2, obvoiusly LT2 starts, I'm leaning towards Gore over Addai, but not sure. Second issue is with QB, I like Big Ben and picked him first, but I think Brees might be a bit better... Your thoughts?

RB LT, Gore (Same thoughts here...Rhodes may be the guy so Gore is safe early in the year. If Addai is the man make the switch because SF is brutal!)

Yup, that is what I thought. Funny, I drafted Roth before Brees, and Addai before Gore.... Now I'm starting Brees and Gore Draft was kinda goofy, but I think its pretty solid. I'm pretty happy with the recieving core. What do you think of my switch away from Nugent... Kickers are pretty much a coin flip so in the long run it ppbly doesn't matter.

I would go with Brees and Gore. The other #2 RBs are sharing time. Until Bell or Addai becomes the clearcut runner without sharing, Gore is the better bet.

I would go with Gore. As far as QB...tough call. The safe play is Big Ben...you never know how Brees will be on the new team and possibly bad team in NO.

 

I might go with Big Ben and see how he does for you. Make the switch to Brees if you need to.

You don't think that Brees playing Cleveland in Week 1 is reason enough to start him? Ben is playing Miami... I think I'm going to start Brees at week 1 and see how he plays out. Thanks for the insight. I drafted Big Ben first and I'm not so sure yet... I'll ppbly change my mind a few times before week one - I'll have to keep researching, thanks again!
