which rb for Ward? trade help please

ok, im in a 10 team perofrmance league....

 

We must start 3 wrs and 2 rbs

 

i have no depth at wr

 

my team:

 

rb - ronnie borwn, kevin jones, frank gore, addai, maroney

wr - holt, bouldin, clayton, givens, lloyd

 

The guy I am looking to trade an RB just lost Dominick Davis. Which RB should i offer for H ward or Driver? If any?

I must disclose that I am high on both Jones and Gore. They figure prominently in my plans this year. Jones will thrive as the new Falk for Mike Martz. Gore will thrive under Norv Turner. But both are on questionable teams and may not get a lot of TD opportunities.

 

I would trade Maroney, because he's not the every down stud yet.

Depends which tier of RB you want to give up. Ward will probably cost you gore or jones, driver will cost addai or maroney (though I'd rather give maroney).

if push came to shove, what would yoiu guys do? Maroney for Driver or gore for ward?

I'd do Gore for Ward. Although I have to admit I'm not too high on Driver.

I don't think you need to make a move because you're not that deep with RB's. I'm a Detroit homer and am not big on Kevin Jones at all. I like Gore though. If you had to do one i'd say K.JOnes, but again I don't think you need to make that trade.

i'm a fan of driver. i have him on both of my teams, so obviously, i'm biased.

 

i just think that favre will have a pretty decent year and he really only has 2 WRs, one of whom is a rookie (Jennings). driver had 1200 yards and 5 TDs last year and 1200 and 9 the year before. i look more to the 1200 and 9 for this year. ward is the go-to-guy in pitt, but you'd have to give up too much. if you can get driver for maroney, i'd consider that a good trade.

I would offer Addai first for Ward. See if he repsonds back with Driver for Addai (which I'd accept). If he reject without a re-offer then offer Gore for Ward. It's going to take Gore (atleast... I wouldn't personally do it) to get Ward but you may be able to get Driver for cheaper. Both would be good WR2.
