Groundhog 24 Posted September 5, 2006 12-team league, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D. All TDs are 6 pts (incl. passing TDs) Yardage: 1 pt. for every 25 yds passing, 1 pt. for every 10 yrds rush/rec. Got the #3 slot in the draft. so here's the roster: QB: McNabb, Simms RB: Tomlinson, Gore, Marion Barber WR: Wayne, Galloway, Houshmanzadeh, Drew Bennett TE: Watson, Klopfenstein K: Kaeding D: Eagles, Falcons thoughts? westskins 0 Posted September 5, 2006 I like, got an "A" guy at each position. If your "D" counts wins/losses could be tough. Both are in tough divisions. See mine
ZUL8TER 0 Posted September 5, 2006 well balanced team
VikingFan 0 Posted September 5, 2006 In a 12 team league I think that is a good team, nice balance throughout the lineup.

Was QB your 3rd round pick? If so it's a pretty big risk in my eyes. WRs look good and if Palmer is healthy the entire year then they could win many games for you. TE- I like Watson, alot, Brady has to throw to someone.

Normally I wait a lot longer for QBs - more like 6th-8th rounds for starters - but because the scoring system has 6 pts. per pass TD, I decided to go QB earlier. In retrospect I probably could have grabbed a better #2 RB at 3.03 and hoped that a top QB would still be around in the 4th round. on the RB front, was hoping to get Droughns at 4.10 but he went at 4.07, which left me with Gore as really the only "clear #1 RB on the team" still available. After that you get into RBBCs or rookies.
dumbassmax2001 0 Posted September 5, 2006 Decent team, just need a little depth at RB. I would drop one kicker and one D and at least pick up one or both of your handcuff's at the RB position. Thanks for answering mine.
