LJ trade?

There is one team in my league who has LJ that just blows. Redraft, ppr and start QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,RB/WR,TE,K,DEF & D Player.

 

Other team's RB's and WR's (not interested in any of the other positions):

 

RB's - LJ, T Jones, M Moore, L Maroney, L White

WR's - Harrison, Ward, Burress, Coles, Bennett, R Brown

 

My team is in my sig.....I would trade away

 

Jordan (or Ronnie Brown)

C Taylor and

Roy Williams (or Burleson)

 

and get

 

Larry Johnson

 

I figure they lose LJ but gain 2 quality starting RB's and a good WR instead. Is this too much, too little or even/fair? If not even who would you substitute?

I would trade my whole team for LJ and just waiver wire the rest.

I think that is fair and I would do the same to get LJ

I wouldn't do that trade. Only way I'd consider a trade for LJ from what you have is for Jordan, Brown and Williams. No other way I'd let LJ go if it were me.

I can't figure out how your team ended up with so much quality and depth and how his team blows so bad. If I were him, LJ is his only hope of winning anything, so I wouldn't give him up for less than Brown and Jordan. Both, not either/or

Everybody was drafting 1 of everything, including D's and K's, so I kept drafting WR's and RB's till round 9 and took Delhomme.

I mean from your point of view that trade is good and if you slip Nate in instead of Roy W it is robbery. Unlike other, I don't think you can win with one guy and crap everywhere else. he's only got one asset so he needs to deal it and get something better to bulk up his roster.

I would try to Give him Jordan , F.Taylor and Roy. I think that C.Taylor should have a much better year then F.Taylor .

If you could get away with giving him Fred Taylor I would try. If he doesn't go for it, I'd make the trade anyway as LJ is worth 1.5 running backs.

It would be a great trade for you. However, like others on this thread, I wouldnt take anything less than Jordan, Brown and F Taylor or D Williams. You can certainly spare the RBs with having Alexander, C Taylor and F Taylor/D Williams. The addition of LJ to that group would put you over the top, and id make you pay heavily for it.

I'll go the other way and say don't do it. You have some studly RBs as it is and as much as it would be nice to have LJ and SA, you don't necessarily need him. Why help the other team out. He has a shite team, even with LJ. I'd wait for things to shake out before you do a trade of this magnitude.

WOW, that's a lot to give up for LJ or any RB. If it was the end of the year and you depth didn't matter then I'd do it, but really, if LJ were to go down your done. LJ hasn't even done anything with Roaf gone so I'd wait. Also, I really think ROY will go nutz this year as will Ronnie Brown. PPR and L Jordan is a stud, non PPR just decent. I'd stay away from that trade.

I would go for it, your team has lots of strength, and 1 player can win your league (I won my first year of FF with Marshall Faulk 4 years ago)!

Obvious 8 team league........I would go ahead in your case and do this trade.........LJ won my league last year so its hard to not give him some respect.
