getting some offers in a 16-team league heavily dependent on WR.

do i trade mike bell now, while he's value is high for laveranues coles? or do i try to get something better?

my other WR are holt, moulds, hall, e parker, and colston so i could use the help.

Too early to pull that trigger especially for coles. Running Backs that you dont trade right now include, Mike Bell, Tatum Bell, Thomas Jones, Cedric Benson, Julious Jones, Marion Barber. These are guys depending on how the season sways (injuries) can win you a FF league

Altough after Holt you don't have much but i would wait it out. If Bell does get the start his value sky rockets and you can get something better than Coles. With Pennington who can't throw farther then 10 yards i don't value Coles that much.

That is a tough call. I know that Mike Bell and Tatum Bell will split carries in Denver but both could come close to 100 yards per game. I think in the long run, Tatum will take over the starting duties. I think that Shanahan used Mike to motivate Tatum. I would probably wait until after week 1 or 2 and see Mike Bell does. If he does well, trade him then for someone better than Coles. I dont like the Jets offense at all. They will be one of the worst teams in the league this year. Probably in the running to get Brady Quinn or Peterson coming out of college next year. If you feel that Bells value is going to drop off greatly after week 1 go for a better receiver now. Or at least a receiver of equivalent skill on a better team. Is the owner of Tatum Bell looking to get his running mate? That owner might be one to try to trade with. Also you might try to trade Thomas Jones to the Cedric Benson owner. Let someone else worry about the headache caused by splitting carries. Gore and Jordan are going to get the majority of the carries so you are ok there. And you might be able to use one of your other backs to get another running back in a better situation.

I'd keep Bell through week 4 atleast. See how he does

I would keep Bell and try to get someone better. Coles doesn't strike a whole ton of confidence in me. I'm actually trying to dish him away before the season starts while his value is pretty good since Pennington is healthy; although i don't expect Chad to make it through 8 games and Coles will return to a shaky start.

As a Denver fan I'd say explore trading Mike Bell for fantasy purposes but I'd hold out for more than Coles. Pennington doesn't have the strongest arm and he's had 2 surgeries on it so the quarterback situation in NY is a ? in my opinion. If Bell gets a decent amount of carries the first few weeks he should get some yards and tds. Tatum isn't a goal line back he's the type to hit a hole late in the game to get yards. Mike Bell in theory should get goal line carries with Dayne gone but then again it's always hard to predict Shannahan. Coles doesn't really strike me as a good fantasy choice so I'd hold onto Bell and hope his value goes up the sell high.

I have traded away M. Bell for Ernest Wilford.

Some may say that I have been ripped off but I dont wanna have another M. Anderson vs T. Bell situation from the last yr.

Mike Bell's value could be at the highest of his career right now. If you could, package one of ur WR and get another STUD WR.

Except the situation last year wasn't bad at all depending on how you got a guy like Anderson. He got 4 carries in the first game for 5 yards while Tatum started. Over the next 15 games he rushed for over 1,000 yards and had 12 td's. I got him as a FA and he's one of the reasons I won my league. The main issue with Mike Bell for me is that he's a rookie who hasn't played at this level. There's no way to tell how he'll hold up over a 16 game NFL season. To his credit though he was considered to have some of the best hands for a RB in the draft even though he went undrafted. Bell for Wilford isn't a bad deal at all and I would definitely take a guy like Wilfor over Coles due to their situations.
