I've got the same situation and I'm starting Watson. Cincy's pass D is much better than their run D and I would expect Gonzo to be used more as a blocker. Also, Watson showed some promise in the preseason and I like to take some gambles with my lineups. However, conventional wisdom says start your studs, and Gonzo is in that catagory.

I'd go with Watson as well especially with Branch not playing. Brady will get him the ball alot!

I'd go with Ben Watson here as well, but Gonzo has a pretty good matchup this week as well. We'll see if the koolaid on Ben is worth it here against buffalo.

Watson will be a STUD this year starting with his stampeding of Buffalo.

Without Branch and with all the new blood at WR for the Pats this year,

Brady will look toward Watson early and often.

I got Gonzo and Watson, both qualify as wideouts in my league, no tightends. Also have Steve smith to decide on and Marvin who is starting. I need to pick the other two between Smith, Gonzo , Watson and Braylon Edwards.

 

If Smith is a no go, which if he needs the week off I hope he takes it, I'll probably start both Gonzo and Watson and hope for a tighend love fest all weekend long; Heath Miller already got it started last night.

You cant go wrong! FFTODAY and FFSHARKS both have them 1-2. I think that Watson will be a top 3 TE STUD this year b/c of that I go with him and stay with him.

Gonzalez will be asked to block more this year, but he will get plenty of balls his way. Go with him. I'm not a watson fan.
