theplaymaker 0 Posted September 9, 2006 Lee Evans @ NE or Donald Driver @ CHI? JP Losman doesn't really instill a lot of confidence right now. The upside about playing Evans is that if someone is going to light the secondary it's going to be him. During the training camp the coaches said he "without a doubt" can handle the job. Promising, but it's best to wait. Driver should be good for more TD's now that Walker is gone and with a gunslinger like Farve you know he will get his chances where Evans might not if Losman struggles. Cuse9 131 Posted September 9, 2006 Jeeziz, why don't you have him do your taxes for you while you're at it? Did you really join fantasy football leagues to have someone else set all your rosters? Why are you in the help boards yourself? I mean you didn't get into fantasy football to have this help board make your decisions did you? I respect the opinions of other people. Sometimes they have things to say that makes sense and can help you figure things out. Sometimes....it don't matter. If he seen any new info on the Bells or Lundy it would be nice to see. Basically, opinions never hurt...good or bad...but appreciated. BTW...if he does taxes, I guess I can see how much he charges. If he's good at helping me find more loopholes he can do them for me. Why are you in here anyway?

Thanks for your time...... Team 1 Geez. I hope you are loaded at RB or WR. When faced with tough lineup decisions it's good to consider the quality of the team as well. Stronger teams will produce better opportunities for your players. It's hard to score if the team can't move the ball. Now that Kitna is playing under Martz he has a chance to put up good numbers but remember he is playing on a new team with a new offense so I would wait and see before playing him. I would stick with Brunell. One more year under Gibbs and one more year closer to a championship caliber team, Brunell is unspectacular but a proven leader and with Portis out then no reason to believe they will be throwing the ball at the goal-line. Team 2 Lundy is a longshot, heck he was the 3rd string back before injuries. A lot of people think Mike Shanahan is just trying to fool with everyones head. I took Terrell Davis after he came back from his injury with my first pick and that was a fiasco. It's hard to get a read on Shanahan, yes but I think there is probably a lot of truth to what he said a couple of days ago. he said both Bells will split carries, Mike Bell reminds him of Mike Anderson in 2005 and Taum Bell reminds him of Tatum Bell of 2005. meaning Mike Bell is pegged to get the goal line carries, he is certainly the bigger bruising type than Tatum. I would start Mike Bell. Team 3 I would check the reports on Givens if you are sure he will play. Second choice would be Brown. He is healthy and every once in a while he will explode and put up monster numbers. Gotta give Gabriel time to mesh with the offense.

guitarmonkiy 0 Posted September 9, 2006 Two questions I could use some advice on... First, who should my number 3 receiver be? So far I have Fitz and CJ as my 1 and 2, and here are my options for the third: Kennison vs Cinci Glenn vs Jags or Wilford vs Dallas I'm leaning towards Glenn but could use some other insights My second question is who to start at RB along with Alexander. My option: Jamal Lewis vs Bucs Duckett vs Minnesota Rhodes vs Giants or Lundy vs Eagles Not sure what to do here. I think Duckett will do pretty well IF Portis doesn't play. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
theplaymaker 0 Posted September 9, 2006 Thanks for the advice the other day! You da man. Good luck this weekend! You are welcome. Good luck to you too. My team is in my signature. Porter is #4 WR in Oak. Is he worth BN spot? or should I pick up mould, jennings (I also have DD) or Curry? They are still FA. second question is should I start Bledso or Brooks?? let me know if u have any other suggetion for my team. Thanks for help. I would pick up Moulds. Proven veteran wr's are a good thing to have, think of Issac Bruce, Marvin Harrison, Meshawn Johnson, Joey Galloway, Jimmy Smith, Eddie Kennison, etc. All are still (or were for Smith) productive even though they are well past their prime. Moulds in not the main guy now so will see better matchups this season.
