seamus16 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Hey all I need a second opinion here. I have Tom Brady and Mike Vick (Brady started this week) I also have Steve Smith as my receiver and only Issac Bruce as any sort of decent compliment. I have been offered a trade-- Vick For Drew Bennett, who had a big week. What are your thoughts? Thanks
Rynoman 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I would if you have a large roster and a spot avaialble to drop someone and pickup a QB for Brady's bye week. I mean Vick should never be used unless Tom gets hurt I like Bennett a lot. Mine
throttlers 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Normally I would say no, because I think Vick will actually have a good year, and I think Bennett will be up and down all year. However, since yo uare hurting so much for a WR, I would consider it unless yo uhave other options to upgrade at WR. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=231939
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 13, 2006 Do it. You have a reliable starting QB with Brady. You need Bennett more than you need Vick at this point.
End3r 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I concur, even though Vick might have a good year, you have to stick with Brady so Vick will only be a bye week filler, and it seems like you need Bennett (who I think will have a solid year) more than you need Vick... I say go for it...
big blue bingo bob 0 Posted September 13, 2006 No. Vick would only be your back up
HowieWan 0 Posted September 13, 2006 I hate Vick in fantasy because he is so up and down, so I would get rid of him and take Bennett. Brady should be your starter every week except the bye. If the other guy really wants Vick and he has a WR you like better than Bennett, make a counter-offer for another WR. I happen to think the trade is pretty good for you, although you cannot expect WR1 numbers from Bennett every week. As long as your expectations are tempered, make the trade.
