Bills04 58 Posted September 15, 2006 Hi everyone. One team won this past week (yay!), while one team lost (went up against P. Manning, J. Jones and K. Winslow...). Okay - each team has QB questions, while one has a WR dilemma. At QB, Team 1: I've got Culpepper (who I started IN ERROR last week) at home vs. BUF or Vick at home vs. TB. I'm leaning towards Culpepper, because MIA can't go 0-2, and it is a divisional game. Also, BUF is going with TWO ® at the safety slots. However - Vick doubled the number of points Culpepper scored last week... Do I "dare" leave him on the bench again? At QB, Team 2: I took Hasselbeck early (3rd round!), but he didn't do much last week... Last year, Seattle POUNDED Alexander vs. ARI... I'm leaning towards him, because I figure he will want to make up for not scoring last week. BUT - Baltimore is playing against Oakland, which is like a junior varsity team! Baltimore will probably have the ball A TON, which equates to MANY scoring opportunities... Team 1: I've got PHI WR R. Brown, who had good games against NYG last year. On that team, I also have MIA WR Booker. If I like MIA QB vs. BUF, why not "shoot the moon" and go for a MIA WR, too? (Right now, I'm leaning towards R. Brown.) Remember to leave YOUR link. I reply to those who help! Thanks!
Killer Elite 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Culpepper for the first The second is confusing .. but to answer the question, start Hasslebeck every week no matter what. Save his bye week. And last Booker will be lucky to catch 2 balls for 20 yards. You have higher point potential with Reggie Brown. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=232864
wigg12 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Team 1 - Start Daunte C at QB Vick is going to have trouble and start throwing picks. Start R. Brown at WR. Booker is old and inconsistant. R. Brown has potential to be a stud. Team 2 - Start Matt H. at QB. He has alot of weapons and is a good qb
yomamahates 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Even though I own Vick, I know he's going to screw me over a few of these games, It just matters when. Culpepper is more consistent. Give him some credit...opening game against last years champs (with a great defense too). Also, I am a Lions fan, but I would say that Week 1 game was a fluke. Lions had a great day and Seattle had a bad day. (even though SEA won) Plus, Brady is hurting right now cause Branch is gone. Hasslebeck is going to dominate with Branch. Bills04 58 Posted September 15, 2006 2nd reply had a reader that was confused. For my 2nd team, I have Hasselbeck of SEA and McNair of BAL. "Last year," Hasselbeck had poor games vs. ARI, because SEA ran Alexander down their throats! McNair has "potential," because I think BAL will have the ball for around 40:00 of the game!!! Another "bump."
throttlers 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I'd go with Vick over C-Pep. Vick has look great and is throwing the ball much better this year (no I don't own Vick). I'd take Booker over Brown. I just think he will get more looks than Brown will. For the 2nd team, I really like McNair this year, but I wouldn't bench Hass for him unless Hass shows signs of consistently stuggling or McNair starts lighting it up. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233083
