rjconley48105 0 Posted September 24, 2006 I know this is a different N.E. team than in the past couple years but Denver looks terrible and I cant see them go into there at night with revenge on N.E. mind from the playoffs last year. I think Brady and the boys will take care of business.

Tarheel Boy 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Talk about sweating it out. After watching Carolina p!ss the game away and cost me my Carolina/GB parlay I had to sweat out 10 point teasers on the Baltimore and San Fran games. The last second TD by San Fran put me in the plus today. I don't like either side tonight, but I might take the under.
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Brady is 1-4 against Denver lifetime. There is a wet field tonight, which I see favoring Denver's running game. My play tonight is: Denver +6.
art schlichter's bookie 0 Posted September 24, 2006 I went 5-2 today. I feel like NE is getting by on bailing wire and duct tape. I hate betting Jake "Throw the Ball Left-Handed in Traffic" Plummer but I think it's the right side tonight. Debating, but probably maybe eventually betting DEN +pts
Yer mom 2 Posted September 24, 2006 Sunday night games got ugly written all over it. Since Denver has yet to score an offensive touchdown, I go under 38.5 Under 38.5 - 1 Benji +6 on day Good luck!
BOLTSRULE 0 Posted September 25, 2006 If you want to make it easy, just bet EVERY underdog this week... I honestly believe the dogs will go 10-4 this week... The only favorites I would even consider are: Phili, Balt, Chi And I will probably only bet Phili because they have to be PISSED and will most likely run the score up in the 2nd half. only would've missed 3 games betting all dogs, and a push. good call! i didnt touch skins or philly though, in fact i only bet 3 games, but all winners. i should stop for the season now!! GiantsRule 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Needed a day like today. Holy crap. After going 4-1 yesterday (along with the heartbreaking 5-team parlay that missed because of Navy and the blocked XP): Hasselbeck completions prop = WIN (cashed by first Seattle series of the 2nd half) Favre completions prop = WIN (cashed midway through the 3rd quarter) Indy-Jax Under = WIN GB with the points = WIN 3-team Overs parlay = LOSS Baltimore giving the points = LOSS Also added Denver +7 from the road (WIN). However, got greedy in the final minutes with the evils of live betting. Saw Pats +9.5 for +220 and jumped on it for a few bucks (LOSS). Just needed them to kick the FG in the last few minutes, but they went for it on 4th down instead. So gave a little back there. Thrilled to have built a decent bankroll after a slow start to the season. Here's to hoping the props will look enticing tomorrow night for a nice finish to a great weekend. jmueller44 0 Posted September 25, 2006 SUNDAY NFL Week 3 TRENDS The Underdogs went 9-4 ATS today. The trend of the first 2 weeks was reverse, for today anyway. The OVER went 7-5-1 today.
Bouve 0 Posted September 25, 2006 I decided to have a little fun with tonights game, here are my plays: Atlanta gets 1st sack 2 units Brees to throw at least 1 INT 4 units ATL -3 1st half 3 units ATL -4 3 units Parlay .5 units to win 4.5 units 1st accepted penalty not a false start 1st FG made over 33.5 yards 1st play from scrimmage is a run Vick 1st pass complete Dunn 1st rush over 3 yards I'll probably regret this later
cday 0 Posted September 25, 2006 1-3 on Sunday. oof. probably staying away tonight, but i like ATL to cover.
Yer mom 2 Posted September 25, 2006 Tonights play: Atlanta is definately the better team here and the public is jumping all over ATL tonight, cant say I blame em, the line is now -4 -120. My gut says stay away at least until halftime when you might be able to get a better line with whichever side you like. But...... NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS!!! (says Coach "cant pick one" Corso) I think both teams will move the ball, if ATL dosent convert drives to touchdowns they rely on a dinosaur in his first week back to make the field goals, as money as Morten was maybe he still can kick a 45-50 yarder, dunno. Factoring in emotion at the Superdome, im sure NO really wants to deliver for their fans tonight and will play extremely inspired. I also expect to be on the right side of whatever poor, charity officiating calls there might be tonight because of emotional factor. And now the man gives me +4 even money at home. I definately understand the ATL pick, but tonight I go the other way. NO+4 Even 2 Benjis Good luck!! <-----This guy is the man
GiantsRule 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Looking to continue riding the prop play gravy train: Drew Brees to have Over 21 completions (-115) Atlanta has a strong run D, but is one of the worst teams against the pass. This means Deuce & Bush are going to have little room to move downfield on the ground. Bush should account for 5-7 catches alone and Horn and Henderson should bring the number up to the teens. Only thing that concerns me is potential big play catches which will shorten the field and lessen the number of possible completions. But Brees had a few last week and that didn't stop him from completing well over 21 passes. I'm apparently not alone on this play as the line since moved to -130 (and could go higher by kickoff). I might add another prop when I get home depending on what Sportsbook has available. As always, good luck to all.
StrikeGold 0 Posted September 25, 2006 Can I get a bump. . . . . . . . . Looking for more people's thoughts on tonight's game. I've been sucking all year on NFL bets, while cleaning up on college. This week, bet fewer NFL games and went the opposite of my gut -- result: 2-0 in NFL bets (Cincy and Minnesota) (after 1-4 last weekend). Tonight, I really like the Falcons, which is why my money is on the Saints.
Bouve 0 Posted September 25, 2006 I think ATL can stop the pass and they have solid corners. If they can score early and get th fans out of the game then I think it will be an easy win and hopefully an easy cover for the Falcons.

phillybear 365 Posted September 26, 2006 Overall NFL YTD: 23-23; -.45 units Subset: 2 unit plays or higher: 4-3; +2 units Monday OVER Atl/NO (45) for 1 unit LOSER OVER 1st H (21.5)@-120 for .5 units WINNER Atlanta 2nd H (-4.5)@-120 for .5 units LOSER We have seen a lot of low scoring national TV games on Sunday and Monday nights lately. Jax 9-0 over Pittsburgh. Denver 17-7 over NE. Time for an over. Looking some recent games between these two teams, 3 of the last 4 matches would have gone over tonight's total. Atlanta is 2-0 to the under so far, NO is 1-1 to the under so far. Both defenses are vulnerable to the pass, and prone to turnovers. Over the total. Slight lean to NO, but not enough to play it. If the dog covers on Sunday night, usually the favorite covers Monday night. That is a trend that I have noticed the last few years. Good luck to all. GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 26, 2006 Atlanta -4 is my play for tonight Coach Ditka is 3-0 on his Monday night picks so far.(2 picks in week 1) I don't like going against an undefeated Coach Ditka who is predicting the Saints to win because some kind of emotional wave will pull the Saints through he says. Atlanta plays better football than the Saints. period.
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 26, 2006 2-11. WOW I SHOULD PLAY FOR THE TEXANS. Come on Atlanta! 2-11???? How do you figure? Carolina did not cover the -3. phillybear 365 Posted September 26, 2006 Some bad luck in Morten Anderson missing the 25 yarder with 2 minutes to go. Some very good luck with a key penalty and some nifty Reggie Bush plays to get the 51 yarder just before halftime. And the first half goes over the total. Barely. art schlichter's bookie 0 Posted September 26, 2006 I took the Saints. Looking at a 17 pt. middle if I take ATL in 2h Saints win by 13 to lose by 4 would be middle Anyone with middling advice? This seems like a good bet to me but I never try for the middle...
GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted September 26, 2006 Atlanta -5.5 in the 2nd half sounds interesting. So Atlanta can lose by 11 or less and a person can still lock in as a winner. However, I noticed the money is going on New Orleans at half time. Generally speaking you go with the money at the half time lines. So, it is somewhat concerning. I just clicked in though. I'm hoping they cash in on some of those red zone trips. Atlanta -5.5 2nd half

phillybear 365 Posted September 26, 2006 Adding Atlanta 2nd H (-4.5)@-120 for .5 units Seems like teams come back in second halfs this weekend.
