hungt23 0 Posted September 25, 2006 I loaded up on RBs during the draft so my WRs are bad. Somebody offered Javon Walker to me for Tatum Bell. Should I do it or should I look for better offers? Thank you very much for your input. This is a 1st year keeper's league. TD (RUSH & RECEIVE 6 pts, PASS 3 pts). TEs are counted as WRs. FBH ** 0 Posted September 26, 2006 With Tatum looking like the starter, I would wait and see what he does this weekend, before making this trade. Plummer has not looked sharp, and I would suspect that you could get more for Bell after a couple weeks. Thanks for mine.
iforgotmypassword 0 Posted September 26, 2006 If you're that high on walker, then go for it. I think Tatum is worth more than Walker, mainly because of Plummer's inconsistency. Look at walkers stats before this week. Trash. Tatum is now the starter in the always potent Den. offense. You should be able to get a reliable stud WR for Bell. If not now, then definitly within the next few weeks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237496
ggroovy17 0 Posted September 26, 2006 I would do it, because I still don't trust Shannahan about the running game. Javon Walker will be a top 10 WR, Plummer is starting to realize what he has in Walker. Thanks for answering mine.
HermanEdwards 0 Posted September 26, 2006 Absolutely you should do it. Gore/James/Maroney make up a fairly solid core. More importantly, you NEED to replace Randy Moss immediately. He is a fantasy cancer. His numbers will be garbage the entire year. Are Shell/No Offensive Line/ A Hight School O coordinator, the party is over for Mr. Moss. Also, Michael Clayton is finished in Tampa as well. With NO O Line {eg, spleen} and a Rookie QB throwing the ball, Tamps is in trouble, big trouble. Bottom line is you have depth at RB and are thin at wideout. After Javon's breakout game the other night, MAKE THE TRADE. HermEdwards
king41 0 Posted September 26, 2006 I think you make that trade for sure....Your alreade pretty solid at RB and it looks like he will have both Denver RB's. Sucks 4 him on a bye week! I've been waiting for 3 weeks to finally see Walker get going and I played him and got the points I am expecting from him this year. Plummer has been inconsistent, but he will throw the ball to Walker first and foremost. I know the one guy on this post said that Walker's numbers have been garbage, but that is not true- Granted he only had 41 yrds on the 1st week, but Plummer only had 130 yards passing. 2nd week he had 84 yards and he missed a ball thrown to him in the endzone...And week 3...well you know what he did...GO GET HIM. Here's mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=237627
