Would this fix my weakness?

I have a pretty stacked team in my 12 team league. The only thing I'm not happy with is my TE situation.

 

Hasselbeck, Kitna

LT2, Westbrook, KJ, Turner, Buckhalter

DJax, R.Moss, Burress, A.Bryant, M.Jones

Dallas Clark, Desmond Clark

 

 

I was offered Heath Miller for Matt Jones and one of my TEs (either one I want to give).

 

Is this a worthwhile upgrade? I would jump on it if I knew Moss and Burress would keep their heads out their asses, but with those guys you never know.

You've got some very nice WR depth so definitely do the trade and make sure you give Desmond Clark since he's gimpy (I forget what he hurt). Good luck!

Miller isnt that much of an upgrade over those guys. Des Clark was the leading receiver for bears. Keep Shoppin.

I agree, as a bears fan I am in love with desmond clark this year. He is being utilized more than any other weapon on the team. See what happens with his foot, I wouldn't go for miller.

Miller is a top 3 TE in my opinion.

 

I would definitely pull the trigger but it is more of a personal judgment call. Hope that helps.

It is probably a bump in terms of Miller, but you are not going to get an elite option for the likes of Matt Jones. Matt Jones is a real talent, but there are three targets in the Jax offense. He may or may not be the one to emerge as the primary target. Miller was a consistent red zone target last year in the offense. Big Ben's early struggles are being reflected in his current performance. I would definitely hold onto Desmond Clark as he will be a solid option when he returns. Miller has a bye this week. Many offenses are involving the TE these days. I would look closely at the waiver wire again. Eric Johnson is a good option with the injury to Verron Davis. If you feel Miller is your best option, so the trade next week, so you can release Dallas Clark.

I say go for it. I like this trade. Miller is good upgrade. more consistant.

I say you hold out on this trade. Miller is not that much of an upgrade for loosing Matt Jones.....Don't forget Moss may not produce all year....Your WR's look good on paper......but it's rice paper & could fall apart on you. I'd keep an eye on the wire like others have suggested or look for other options.

I'd make the deal since Desmond is dinged and Dallas has concussion problems.
