How about a new made for tv movie? link Virtual Network No More: Mobile ESPN to Shut Down By Keith Regan E-Commerce Times 09/28/06 1:11 PM PT In the latest sign that marketplace demand for branded mobile services is not as strong as once believed, ESPN said it would shut down the Mobile ESPN service and turn its attention to licensing its content to existing carriers. Mobile ESPN launched early this year as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). It went live behind a strong marketing push that included ads during the Super Bowl and other major sporting events. The service offered users direct access to a deep well of sports-related content, from live game score and stat updates to streaming video of games and "SportsCenter." DBZFan2K 0 Posted September 30, 2006 Oh thank GOD! I had been pondering getting ESPN Mobile when my contract with Verizon was about to expire. Decided to keep Verizon and had a little bit of buyer's remorse every time I saw the cool features of the ESPN phone, and they kept showing it like crazy on ESPN. So I'm thrilled that it's going the way of the dodo bird. ETA - It says that you can return it and get your refund, or terminate your contract without a fee. I hardly noticed. either those marketing kids cashed in and are on an island somewhere..or they are getting their asses fired monday... between satellite tv, radio, the net..do we really need a phone like this?...heck, i would consider if i could get tsn on my phone for my hockey fix(and they do cover the nfl)...but i dont want a 1 eyed, booyah screaming, showtime at the apollo reject rapping the days highlights to me on the phone.. i can see myself at a store..hungry..ready to buy everything..getting a call and having fat berman as my ringtone..losing my appetite and putting food back... if i was SA, id cash my check for doing the weiner dog spot before the check bounces....
