saiamne 0 Posted September 30, 2006 What I've got - keepers in Bold WR - Tory Holt, Steve Smith, Santana Moss, Dion Branch RB - Warrick Dunn, Carnell Williams, Thomas Jones Available Options through trade or wire: WR - Keyshawn Johnson - concern: Will his production drop with Smith back full time? - Jerrico Cotchery - concern: Can Pennington sustain? Will Cotch keep up this pace playing 2nd to Coles? - Muhsin Muhammad - concern: Can Chi sustain this level of passing and will he start seeing TDs? - Greg Jennings - concern: GB is shaky, Farve is still a machine but will Jennings see #'s with Driver #1? - Braylon Edwards - concern: Browns SUCK even if Braylon doesn't... RB - Lawrence Maroney - concern: splitting carries w/ Dillon, still a rookie... - Reggie Bush - concern: N.O. so/so team, tough schedule, rookie...more value as a W/R than a RB? - Tatum Bell - concern: splitting carries, just not a big fan of him personally - Ladell Betts - concern: 'skins suck, historically not that great, alot of points comming from Rec, not rush - Reuben Droughns - concern: health, Browns sucks, decent history but seems kind of Hypeish this year. Why I don't like who I've got: - Santana Moss: Crappy year, 'skins and Brunell suck, just not getting opportunities even against crap teams - Dion Branch: Great player, but Sea is spreading out the pass, will he be a factor this year? - Cadillac Williams: Having a crappy year, TB not great, Simms out (maybe good for run?), Health (back)? - Thomas Jones: Splitting carries, not all that great, Chi/Grossman relying on pass more, feels mediocre Drop Moss/Jones and watch Branch/Williams? Swap out all 4? Keep just Williams? No changes? As things stand now I have a better than average team, but I doubt I can place top 3 in my 10 man league with this team really...My RB's are really not putting up good #'s and I need more depth and flexibility in my lineups. J5 0 Posted September 30, 2006 Tough to tell what Brach will do. Edwards, Jennings, and Muhammed are all solid options. I would hold onto Moss for now. I would much rather have Bush or Bell over Jones. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=239489
dalie 2 Posted September 30, 2006 I like Cotchery and would hold onto Branch I would also pick up/ get Maroney, get rid of T jones http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=239485
Highland Chargers 0 Posted September 30, 2006 Well...I wish my wire had some of your options, but we carry more players... I don't like Moss nor do I like Branch... Not that crazy about Jones as well. Keep Carnell...especially with some big Polish hammer at Qb...you never know...what's about to happen there. Plus, you know what he is capable of. I do like Bush...and I like Reggie Bush too... He touching the ball is enough to make you wonder whether it will be a 4 yard grind or a 25 yard sprint to the outside (which the critics are hammering him for) but you gotta love it. Not too sure about Droughns, BUT he is the #1 guy...but not too sure...I am kinda drooling over Jennings...I was at the Detroit Lions game last week and watched that stiff arm and Jennings took it to the house...friggin Lions...anyway...I came an was disappointed to find that someone already swooped him up. Just some thoughts...What about Marques Colston from NO? I think he will be a great grab.... Check mine out...here
udogg99 0 Posted September 30, 2006 I would hold on to your WR, but would unload Jones for Maroney, Bush or even Bell

aauhoops33 0 Posted September 30, 2006 i say get muhammad, dont panic too much yet, the redskins just started off stumbling, i think they'll get it going
big blue bingo bob 0 Posted September 30, 2006 I really like Maroney and Mushin http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=239508
skinsfan81 0 Posted September 30, 2006 Hold tight on Moss, I think he'll come around. The Skins just need a little time toget their offense in sink. I'd try for Bush if your in a ppr league he's getting plenty of opportunities.
lvnproof 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Branch can easily turn into the #1 on a re-newed Seattle team which will now edge their emphasis towards the passing game. Instead of waiting to see if this happens - try and sell it right now - and get a good 2nd RB as I don't like either Carnell or Jones.
TXYankee 0 Posted October 1, 2006 I'd rather have Jennings than Branch, too many options in SEA. Mushin is a good player, but Grossman has not proven that he is a good decision maker yet. This week will be a good test of whether he can keep the offense rolling. I would hold onto williams, but if you can turn Jones into Bell, that would be a good upgrade. kristv 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Tough choice there, but I would keep most of what you have. If you feel comfortable enough dropping one of your WR's though, I'd pick up Jennings in a heartbeat. Favre is going to be slinging it, and Driver will get better coverage than Jennings most weeks. Don't forget matchups, as the Packers actually have a pretty good schedule against the pass rush. The only tough opponents they face (defensively) for the rest of the fantasy season are Miami and N.Y. Jets. I think Hasselbeck has too many options to throw to in Seattle and Moss just isn't producing with Brunell struggling. I would probably drop Branch, as Moss is Brunell's first target usually. Thanks for helping me out with mine!
