pook187 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Wow. So many 'professional' prognosticators were way off on this team. They may be the worst team in football. Can anyone remember a bigger disappointing team in recent memory?

Ruphus 0 Posted October 2, 2006 They hired Mularkey. And Miami wins the August Super Bowl every year. I wasn't impressed one bit with the play calling this week. CPep is coming back from major knee surgery and they are chucking the ball 39 times against a team that just gave up 220+ yds on the ground to a guy with a bum shoulder and his backup. Not sure what happened, if it's Saban's or Mularkey's fault, but they really need to realise why they drafted R. Brown last year with the #2 overall pick..... jsilec 0 Posted October 2, 2006 giants come to mind ...they are lucky to have that 1 win....they might not get 5 wins this year with their horrid pass def...and to think i expected a super bowl out of em...they are projected to be better then the dolphins for sure
pacman_fl 0 Posted October 2, 2006 I'm here in S. Florida but a transplant like many and not a Dolphin fan, so I heard many "pre-seaon" chuckles. I still remember driving home one day and one of the local radio hosts was going game by game through the season. "Houston - easy win". The guy came out to 11-5 or 12-4 and winning the division (popular prognostication from most) - funny was one of the losses - AGAINST THE LIONS "with Roy Williams and Mike Williams the DB's won't be able to match up". Though he was right about DB's......Now, although he is "odd" Lebetard has been all over this and recognized from early on that the O-line is a mess, the DB's are horrible and they are not that good (yea Dan). He has also pointed out the faults of Saban (NOBODY does that down here) and I agree - from the "challenge flag debacle" to the 2-point conversion today, the coach has to take some responsibility (especially when these are "his" players). I am sure I will get MUCH Dol-fan backlash, but it is hard to dispute right now.
thegreatone3 0 Posted October 2, 2006 How 'bout the Raiders last year? Kerry Collins to Randy Moss was supposed to be the next big thing.
g5jamz 0 Posted October 2, 2006 What coach kicks a field goal when you're down more than a td on the 4 yard line on 4th down with 4:30 something left on the clock?

adam smitty 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Does anyone else agree that they would be better off putting Harrington in? Cpep should NOT be on the field right now.

Vertical Smiles 0 Posted October 2, 2006 I'm just happy they eeked it out last week when I picked them in the survivor pool. I don't know if they have any sure wins remaining on their schedule.
