Killer B's

2 Blockbusters at the same time!

Recommended Posts

I'm glad I found this board!

OK, I hate to ask so much from my very first post, but I need to make a decision quickly. I will return the favor offering my opinion where needed, for what that's worth.

Background: I have been blessed with some depth and am enjoying a 4-0 season. I have been offered two huge studs for some of my guys.

My RB/WR roster:

S. Jackson

C. Taylor

W. Parker

W. McGahee

R. Dayne

Roy Williams

R. Wayne

A. Johnson

M. Colston

M. Muhammad

The first trade, I have been offered:

L. Tomlinson

for

R. Wayne, R. Williams, McGahee

The second trade, I have been offered:

Shaun Alexander (worried about the foot)

for

R. Wayne

M. Colston

McGahee

One snag is that we get 1 point for every 10 yds receiving, and 1 point for every 20 yds rushing, so WR's do pretty good usually.

Which trade should I make? Should I do either one considering I'm 4-0? The Jackson-LT, or Jackson-SA combo looks pretty damn good.

Thanks for your help!!

I can see myself do either of the trades, but leaning toward the LT one. Be careful though, you will be extremely thin at your WR position after the trade. You may try to trade one of your better RB for a productive WR.

Thanks for helping with mine.

your team is silly good. I would stand pat with Stephen Jackson and Chester being horses. Your WR depth is what is setting you apart. R Wayne and R Williams is a huge hit to your lineup.

Stay put.

Thanks for answering mine.

I agree with this -- don't take either trade. You've got great WR's, and the gain you would get at RB is less than the hit you would take at WR with either deal.

You don't really need the upgrade at RB since your league is skewed towards WR's and you've got some pretty awesome receivers. In fact, I think if I were you I might flip one of your backup RB's into a little more depth at WR, especially if you start more WR's than RB's in your league.

Don't take either one.

Help me out here.

I would take Tomlinson you will get good points from both his running and recieving. The rest of your team looks pretty solid.

YES on the first trade with LT.

NO on the second involving Colston (he's ripping up the league and will continue to do so!)

I agree. Your WR's are what is propelling your squad

I dont mind you moving McGahee due to yoru depth there. I am ok you moving Wayne or Roy...but not both. I could see McGahee, Wayne or Roy and Mush for LT. If you do send Roy and Wayne. I woudl try to get a wr from him also

IF neither of those work, I would stand pat. esp how scoring is for receiving.

I would do the Tomlinson trade which will still leave you with 2 very solid WR in A.Johnson and Colston.

I guess it depends though on what WR is available on waivers. If you could pick up a #2 guy then make the trade. Tomlinson will get his catches also.

You're 4-0...I would not change a thing. But, if you are adamant about one of the trades - LT2 is the obvious choice. Although, I feel you would be giving up too much for him and be very thin at WR. I would sit tight w/your team...it's stacked

If I were to do a trade at all, I would lean towards the LT one, and then pull a WR or two off the wire. Maybe Furrey or Jennings if they're available. Thanks for responding to mine.

Neither trade is worth your while...While you'd be picking up a number 1,2,3 FF draft pick...you'd be giving up guys who are all in the top 20 of the league...

Both big name options, but combined production will not touch the 3 guys you'd be giving up in either trade...

Thanks for you help with mine.

Is this a keeper league or a re-draft?

Definitely stay put. You said you're 4-0 so there is no reason to change anything. You would be trading 2 starting WR's and a stud RB in McGahee... Definitely don't do the trade.
