ziggyschiefs 0 Posted October 5, 2006 i have been offered Chad Johnson if i give him Thomas Jones. he needs RBs bad. i might be able to get him to give up Johnson and Droughns for T. Jones and Mike Furrey is this trade worth it? i would be left with Dunn S Jackson MAroney as my only RBs unless i can [ick up droughns too. thanks for the help leave your link
bobpate17 0 Posted October 5, 2006 if can do second trade then it's good. it will give u some backup at RB and great WR. even first trade is good. CJ is little low but he will bounce back as palmer will bounce back. do it as quick as possible before CJ have good game and his value goes up. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241089

You have a lot of good receivers. Jones is separating himself from Bensen. You cannot have enoough rb's
Cylon Patrol 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Yeah, see if you can work the second trade if possible. If not, I don't think you're hurting yourself giving up Thomas Jones for a WR like 85.

Bob Lee Swagger 0 Posted October 5, 2006 If you can get Droughns along with CJ, do it. Otherwise, I don't think you can suffer the loss of TJones. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241117
ziggyschiefs 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Since i have a flex spot, does it matter that i'm short on RBs in a PPR league? i might be alright if i can just play WRs in my flex spot. i could pick up Stephen Davis or Norwood as an extra RB if i need to but other RB spots are slim pickings. Torch78 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I would agree with some of the others who have said the second trade is better. I think that you need to get a running back in return. I dont think that Furrey is going to have many games like he had last week so trade him while he is hot. In my league I picked him up even though I had Roy Williams already and I was able to trade him and get a decent receiver on a different team. I think that Chad Jackson will totally solidify your receivers and with those receivers you have a good option to use as your flex. Droughns is good as a backup/emergency back. Go for the multiple player trade. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241158
