I have 5 pretty good backs (LJohnson/Sjax/Dunn/Maroney/Addai) but my top WR is Lee Evans/DMason I've been offered (after some discussion) LT and Driver for Larry Johnson and Maroney... Seattle Schmitty 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I wouldn't do that trade simply because I think you could get a much better WR with all the RB depth you have. Some of those guys have great keeper value (Maroney and Addai) but you may not keep them because of LJ and Sjax. I'd keep LJ because LT may not be an upgrade and go after a top teir WR with some of your RB depth. Maroney should get a really good WR in a keeper league. Maroney, I think, is worth a lot more than Driver in a keeper league. Driver's production depends too much on Favre and he's definitely not worth keeping after the year. mrgymrat 0 Posted October 6, 2006 LT2 for LJ is a reach to begin with then you add a rookie QB to Chargers O and LT's value takes a hit (not as big a hit as Antonio Gates though). Throw in Maroney and it's no even close. He might be a keeper. If not then you should get good WR value for him (someone like a TJ Housh or Wayne or maybe even Boldin). Hold out for more... Good Assessment - In addition, I would hazzard to say (especially as an LT2 owner in a keeper league) that maybe LT2 is starting to decline a bit. Last year after week 4 he was the man, this year after week 4 and another year older...... not quite as good. He is a Stud, but he maybe no longer THE STUD, and next years his value will be less and less, especially when all the "super star" rookie running backs start coming out. LJ will hold his value longer. Keep him and ADDAI next year. (But if you could trade Jackson & Addai for LT2 I would say Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
