Beef Ravioli 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Big week for me, as I have a doubleheader in my 13 team league. I am currently in 1st place, but have some players on bye this week and tough matchups for my other guys. I would appreciate a little input! RB's Rudi versus Bucs (he is in already, not sure over the next two) Frank Gore versus Chargers (my defense) Lamont Jordan versus Denver WR's - not sure I have much of a choice, unless I pick up someone else off of waivers Berian versus the Cardinals (he's in) Anquan versus the Bears (scary!) A. Bryant versus the Chargers (scarier!) I have Driver and Doug Gabriel on bye, I could possibly drop Gabriel for another WR with a favorable matchup. Not much there but Buffalo is playing the Lions and Roscoe Parish and Peerles Price are available. Should I pick one of them up for the week or just go with Berian and Anquan and hold my breath? Thanks alot and leave a link.

Thanks alot and leave a link. Go with Rudi and Gore. Oakland is playing the late game in Denver and it could be sloppy weather again. You gotta go with Berrian and I would stay with Boldin. Bryant still scares me. He is way too hit or miss. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242845
time to get ill 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Go with Rudi and Gore for RB and Bodin and Berrian for WR. Any offensive player in Denver is scary (0 TD's given up at home this year). Plus u never know what kind of game u will get w/Bryant. Good Luck!! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242827
dmac37 1 Posted October 11, 2006 For your RB's I would think about Jordan. I believe in the up down theory, Denver is coming off a huge Monday night game vs Baltimore, and Jordan should also start seeing more receptions. Not a great option but Gore is going against a tough Charger team and will be playing from behind early. For WR I would definatly play Boldin, AZ will be playing from behind and Boldin is the #1 option. Chicago is very tough but they can be thrown on a little at times. zippy256 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Thanks for your reply to mine. I'd go with Gore and Boldin. Bryant vs WW, the BUF receivers don't impress me, but if there is a ok WR on the WW i'd pick them up (maybe Welker?)
AmbassadorOfKwan 0 Posted October 11, 2006 With the match ups, Id definitely go with Rudi and Gore. Berrian will be a great play and I really think you have no choice but to play Boldin. Even against the Bears, he is probably their only hope for a score and with Fitz out, should still put up pretty decent yardage numbers. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242860
J5 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Gore and Johnson. I don't think your wr matchups are as bad as you think. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242868
throttlers 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Start Gore and Boldin. Boldin will see more targets with Fitz out. http://img.tfd.com/dict/102/578707-throttle.gif
Triumph 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Man this is tough. Gore is going against the #2 Run D and Jordan is going up against Denver. Denver has a good secondary but not the best Run D. Boldin against the best total D in the NFL or Bryant against the Chargers secondary. I think the Bears Secondary is Scarier and the pressure they will put on Lienhart will force mistakes eliminating Boldins looks. Plus Rookie or Experience? Even though Alex Smith is in his second year I think he is the better QB at this point. go with Jordan and Bryant. Never drop good #1's to WW due to a bye. You will regret it later. RB - Rudi, Gore. Even though I think Gore is going to have a rough day, he'll be more productive than Jordan and the Raiders against DEN. WR- Berrian, Bolden, you have to stick to your guns and take what's given in this senario. Bolden is huge every week, no matter the Defense. Especially with Fitz OUT. Although I also think Johnson will do well in this game. The Bears WILL lose eventually, and this screams upset to me. Berrian over Bryant, because this game screams upset to me! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=242880
