Trade help

Recommended Posts

I get Hines Ward and T. Gonzo

I give DJAX

V. Davis was my TE but he may not be back for a while. I have Cooley in for him at the moment. You guys think Hines will put up good 2nd half #'s?

i'd try for someone other than gonzo. its not a bad trade, but given the o-line situaion in KC its not promising that gonzo will be releasing off the line like we're so used to watching him do. he hasnt had a TD since week 1, which indicates he's blocking alot more.

i dont think the steelers are gonna be doing much this year either and ward has a lingering hammy problem. history shows SB winners to have losing records the following year. whether or not you buy into that is up to you, but ward hasnt had a TD since week 1 and big ben has yet to throw a TD this year. he has something like 8 INTs though.

i wouldnt make the trade just yet. davis is coming back soon and he's a good weapon for smith, who will continue to dump off passes. gore is the leader for dumps to RBs, if i'm not mistaken. davis will get some of those dumps as well and his strength is making plays after the catch.

I agree with the previous post. You're getting two question marks that have nothing more than recognizable names. Stay with Djax, they're going to throw the ball even when Alexander comes back and Jackson is still Hasselbecks guy. He can get you a week worth of points in one play since he's the deep threat in that great passing offense.

Thanks for the help on mine. Good luck this week.

I'd say go for it if your team can deal with losing the solid #s Djax will put up each week. If you have enough depth to hope for the upside that Ward and Gonzo have then it may be worth it. There's a decent chance neither will improve much as the year goes on, but if either gets back to normal production it could be a great trade.
