Should I drop L.Jordan for J.Addai?

Recommended Posts

I'm really getting tired of getting nothing from Jordan and now the back injury, I could probably drop him this week and pick-up J.Addai. Is this a move I should make?

Thank you for your input.

Good Luck

Peace...

Keeper League - definitely; Regular League - Still a qualified yes. LaMont will still receive 25 carries when he is healthy and you risk the standard RBBC with Addai. Certain games when Rhodes is hot, Addai may only see a few carries (ALA Maroney last week), so there is an inherent risk involved.

That being said, I still believe that a 13-15 carry Addai is better than a 25 carry Jordan with no Raider offense.

Thanks for mine.

I have both and if I play one it is Lamont due to him getting all the carries, I have both involved in seperate trades to get a better solid RB. Addai will get you good points here and there, if you can wait it out and see if he takes over in Ind. then get him and hope for the take over that will make him far better then Lamont. If you can't hold out then keep Lamont

Thanks for mine

I'd at least try and move Jordan. You could try and package him or just go straight up for some potential if you're going to drop him anyway. Other teams don't know what you're gonna do. I'd offer him up for Stallworth and then drop somebody or put stallworth on the IR and then pick up Addai.

Thanks for the help.

First, thanks for the input. Secondly, I would definitely take Addai over Jordan. I think he'll be the full-time starter by the end of the year, and his pass-catching abilities make him even more valuable, especially in that Indy offense...

Coming from an ex-LaMont owner, I say take Addai. He is taking that job. LaMont's injury is worrying me, he doest sound fired up about returning, and I could even see a RBBC in Oakland seeing the success they had last week. Oakland is a mess, and get out now while you can still get somone. Thanks for responding to mine.

I'd try to trade Jordan in a package before just dropping him, Starting Rb's (no matter how bad are tough to find) Can't you drop a Wr or something else to grab Addai? I'd take Addai over Jordan, but shop Jordan + some other parts for an upgrade at some position, if no one bites then dump him. Good luck.

I would try to hold onto Jordan if you could because he has some great mathucups late in the season. But IND is really trying to make Addai their go to RB. So that can equate to a lot of touches down the stretch. Especially if they already clinch a post season birth.

i would go for it and drop it...the raiders really are horrible, and have no signs of light from anywhere...go with addai, he will get you more poitns

I do like Addai more than Jordon moving forward, but I would not just drop Jordon if you have someone else to drop. I would trade Jordon to get Addai though if that is what you are doing. Here is how I see it.

1. I did not like Jordon going into this year as the Raiders are a mess and a lot of Jordon's value last year came in the passing game. This year he is not involved at all. His yardage has never been that great on the ground and the Raiders don't sniff the goal line very often and are playing from behind a lot.

2. The Colts love Addai and want to feed him the rock. He has been slowly moving ahead of Rhodes and in my opinion with in a week or two should be getting at least 75% of the carries. Great upside with him for sure. He has been out performing Rhodes for weeks now.

good luck
