Broncos Defense

Recommended Posts

Anybody have a view on whether to let the Broncos defense (which in actual play has been hellacious, nearly as good as the Bears') stay in my starting lineup vs Indy? It seems like suicide to me, but then I am not sure I should bench such a good team based on this matchup. But then again Indy has owned the Broncos for the last few years.

I could pick up:

NE (at Minn.)

Minn. (vs. NE)

NYG (vs TB)

Dal (at Car)

KC (vs Sea & Seneca Wallace)

(I'm not touching Ari (at GB), I don't care if that D has been playing well).

I would be dropping Vinatieri; I don't believe in having 2 K's but this guy could give a major boost to a couple of my competitors; if I let him go he will be picked up asap.

I've answered a few on here today and yesterday. Any other lineup help is appreciated.

Start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 K, 1 DST

Standard Scoring (TD=6, 25 yds pass = 1 pt, 10 yds rush = 1 pt., 10 yds rec. = 10 pts, catch = .5 pts, etc.)

Starters:

Bulger, Marc QB

Johnson, Larry RB

Foster, DeShaun RB

Edwards, Braylon WR

Doug Gabriel WR

Bryant Johnson WR

Heap, Todd TE

Wilkins, Jeff K

Broncos, DST

Bench:

McGahee, Willis RB (bye)

Greg Jennings WR (inj.)

Fitzgerald, Larry WR (Inj.)

Henry, Chris WR

Moss, Santana WR (bye/Inj.)

Vinatieri, Adam K

If you're going to make a move, I'd go for KC playing Seattle.

Are the extra few points from the D really going to make or break you this weekend? If you're playing a weak team, you might just sit tight rather than making the move.

On the other hand, is Vinatieri really going to help out your opponents so much that it's worth keeping him and wasting a roster spot and hurting your flexibility? That's a judgement call that only you can make.

Thanks for mine.

DROP THE KICKER AND P/U PATRIOTS D...YOU WILL NEED 2 DEFENSE DOWN THE STRETCH RATHER THAN 2 KICKERS, ESPECIALLY IN THE PLAYOFFS

I would stick with the Broncos D. I don't think Manning and the Colts will do that much against the best D in the AFC. And your lineup looks correct for this week as I would start them.

Thanks for the reply on mine.

i would take the giants at home against the bucs. you have them vs falcons i think that's incorrect.
