saiamne 0 Posted November 5, 2006 That's pretty much it...for tomorrow who's the smart play in a PPR league? Statistically Def wise both teams are fairly even so no clear advantage there except NO gives up a few more points per game. Reggie Bush is NOT going to do it on the ground, but he's getting more passes than all but a few #1 WR's (with names like Smith, Holt, Boldin, Harrison) and in PPR that's money...Usually I just follow my Gut, but I can't find anyone suggesting Bush as playable tomorrow (and he's technically Q anyway so this might be a wasted question), and everyone ranks Cadillac relatively high - am I missing something here (see rant below)?...Plus, following my gut last week left Colston sitting the bench vs Bal while he went 6 for 163 and 2 TDs...I'm an idiot...stupid logic Bonus Question - Are any of the following players worth dropping for the waiver choices I have? (before you ask I can't get anyone in my league to trade me anything for any of these schmoes) Keyshawn Johnson - production crap since Smith came back, most likely cut I have? Reggie Brown - is he a reliable source of Fantasy pts compared to my other players? Jeremy Shockley - Is there ever an excuse to play Shockley over Colston @ TE once Byes are done? Carnell Williams - I hate him, he sucks, again - see rant below Nothing I'm all that excited about on the Wire, but: Wali Lundy - good couple weeks, looks like he won the #1 slot, relatively soft schedule Maurice Jones-Drew - Hot/Cold depending on the load he gets, but does get TDs DeShawn Foster - #1 back, gets passes (ppr league), so/so schedule Mike Furrey - popular target, gets TDs, Martz = Pass Happy...still Detroit though, plays behind Roy Williams Mushin Muhammad - Chi is hot, fairly consistant, but also fairly old, not a big end-zone guy Joe Horn - good couple weeks, but he's kind of old, groin injury may linger Isaac Bruce - 2nd fiddle to Holt, but gets action while everyone is on Holt League starts 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 W/R (flex), 1 TE Carnell Williams Rant: Every time I play Cadillac I'm disappointed...last week would've been a perfect setup for TB to run alot...nope, in all that wind they just pass all F'n day long and Williams made like 8 points, feature back gets 8 carries on a brutally windy day, GENIUS!!! And 8pts is actually a better than average day for him but only made those points because he got 5 passes and this is a PPR league...And aren't they asking a bit much from Gradkowski? Ok, Simms is out, boo hoo...go to the backup...he's a F'n backup, not Mr Reliable throw all day and win fabulous victories guy, he's had what...1 good game? RUN THE BALL IDIOTS...honestly I just don't see why Cadillac is so high up on everyone's rankings charts, maybe in the real NFL he's a top 15-20 RB, I can see that, he does what a RB is supposed to do (sort of)...but in FFB he's crap...every time I bring up dropping his sorry ass for someone else people are all quick to say NO NO don't trade him, he's awesome! Trade him even up for Chester Taylor or Julius Jones if you don't like him...WHO THE HELL TAKES THOSE KINDS OF TRADES? nobody *I* know...I would be laughed out of my league for even trying...as it is, I can't even unload him with a decent WR (Johnson/Brown) in a 2 for 1 trade to get a solid 10pt per game #2/3 RB when guys in this league are running 5 pt per game WRs in the #2 slot and have solid RBs sitting bench every week...people in my league are dumb, Cadillac Williams stinks, and I need more beer, that's my story and I'm sticking to it

bunnerjk 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Nobody wants to read that much....................Caddy!!!!!
TommyGavin 790 Posted November 5, 2006 Caddy - Bush is more of a "next" yeat must start. Thanks for mine
electricrelish 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I would get Wali Lundy if you really don't like Caddy. Your RB lineup is good and you could switchout based on matchup. W. Dunn can get cold at times. I also like Maurice Jones-Drew but you have to play him again based on the best matchup. Drop K. Johnson and get M. Furrey. I mean why not. K. Johnson is doing nothing and M. Furrey has great upcoming matchups.
HIW 0 Posted November 5, 2006 wow! some decent guys on your WW..... first: I'd go CADDY for sure. second: Think about dropping KJ to pick up either DREW, FOSTER, or BRUCE (maybe Furrey) good luck
Gepetto 1,437 Posted November 5, 2006 Caddy over R.Bush. Drop K.Johnson and pick up Wali Lundy ... you could play Lundy this week (good matchup) at your flex instead of Caddy or Bush. Coin flip on Lundy vs. Caddy. I'd drop Reggie Brown for Foster too, unless your worried someone can pick up Reggie Brown and improve their starting wide receivers. I have no idea if Reggie Brown will be a stud or a dud the rest of the year.

Make room on the bench... ditch Keyshawn Johnson. Lundi has some good match ups the next couple of weeks. Mike Furrey is better than Johnson.. even behind Roy
