Homerj24 0 Posted November 5, 2006 The Scoring System: 1 Point for every 2 Pass Completions 1 Point for every 25 Yards Passing 4 Points for every Passing TD (x2 for 50+ yd) 1 Point for every 10 Yards Rushing 3 Points for 15 Carries (1 Point for every additional carry) 1 Point for every Reception by a RB 6 Points for every Rushing TD (x2 for 50+ yd) The Lineup: Rex Grossman vs MIA Jon Kitna vs ATL Willie Parker vs DEN Chester Taylor @ SF Marvin Harrison @ NE Roy Williams vs ATL Final Flex Position??? The Options: David Carr @ NYG Jamal Lewis vs CIN The Breakdown: The scoring system sligtly favors QB's & RB's that carry the ball a lot, so I am torn here. Jamal is only averaging 14.3 points per week while Carr is averaging 23.3 points per week. Carr will likely be playing in garbage time again vs the Giants, so he'll throw a lot. But I am very tempted to start Jamal this week (29 points last week from my bench -- Carr benched at halftime). However, Jamal has a history of screwing me over whenever I start him. So should I go with the steady option in Carr or the high risk high reward option in Lewis?

Menace 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I think Carr will rebound. I would start him.
Homerj24 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Lewis' YPC were still average last week, but I do think he'll get the ball a lot. I get points for carries. I need some tiebreakers here guys. Who should I go with?
HuskerFan34 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I always go with a QB in a flex position
bswarriors 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I havent seen too many leagues that allow qb for flex but i think the steady scoring that you would think carr would get you would be the way to go. That being said i love starting rb's, jlew looked much better last week and cincy's def is pretty bad. I think I am leaning towards jlew on this one
Buck Naked 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Tough call.... There's a good chance that Carr will be benched again if he commits any T/Os early. I think I'd lean Lewis here, but don't feel very strong about the choice. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Thanks for getting mine.
Skeets 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I think Carr is the safer. bet. HOU will pass for TDs, and Carr is too good to be benched again. I just don't trust Jamal. Thanks for answering mine.
SaintsInDome2006 563 Posted November 5, 2006 I would go with Jam here but it's not a confident recommendation. it's based on carr getting benched last week and Rosenfels looking good. kubiak benched his rb's for dropping balls, and now he's doing it with qb's. Just be careful with Carr if he plays the whole game he's clearly the best start, it's just a risk. Could use some advice myself, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250905
big blue bingo bob 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Jamal I would say. G men are gonna bury Carr today. Plus he could be benched at anytime http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250921
TedyBruschi54 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Jamal Ginats D might be too much for Carr...
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted November 5, 2006 I like Carr .. think HOU will have to play catch up the whole game and Carr will throw the football a lot, there will be a few INTs, but so will TDs. THanks for mine..
