AnaheimRams 28 Posted November 7, 2006 Okay. I'm 5-4, but second in points. I have a very deep lineup, but just coming up short in a lot of games. The guy with LJ is 7-2 and first in points, but he's riding huge days by McNabb, LJ and Chicago D. Not much other talent. I'd like to get LJ, but I'm also concerned about helping him spread his talent around more evenly. I've offered FWP, Addai and Driver for LJ... but I'm considering offering him Boldin or Colston instead of Driver if he counters. Also... could possibly offer A Green instead of Addai. Starting lineups after trade would be: Me: Kitna, LT, LJ, Holt, Boldin, D Jackson, M Colston, Winslow, Elam, ATL D. Him: McCnabb, FWP, (Gore, Addai, McGahee), Wayne, C Johnson, L Evans, Driver, Witten, Rackers, Bears. I can basically do this with virtually no damage to starting my line-up, but I'm concerned about helping him too much. So... good trade? Would swapping in Green, Boldin or Colston be too much, or should I go there if he counters. Leave a link. I'm a geek, and I'll be here awhile. Yo.

If you can get LJ LT and Holt on one team, with a solid QB in Kitna, and Boldin, DJax, Colston...man, you'll destroy him if you ever meet. As to the trade itself, I have a hard time seeing him giving you LJ. It looks like you guys just start two RB, so he already has Gore and LJ. Why would he need more depth there? Now, if you guys have a flex too, he might take it, because then he can start FWP and Addai. Well, see if he takes it, and if not, throw in a better WR or something like that. We start 2 RB's and 4 WR's. WR is where he's hurting... and where he needs the upgrade. He's also got NO depth at RB right now with McGahee's broken vagina. If he wants a better WR than Driver, I'd probably still do it.
Cjt727 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I think it's a good deal. Don't offer any more than that though unless he refuses it. Good luck
nosferatu9368 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I'd try and get LJ I dont care who you have to give up. I'd rather have Addai than Ahman and I'd offer Boldin before Colston. But having the 2 best RB's in the league will be very hard to beat come playoff time. Good Luck Thanks for answering mine Peace...
Sux2butoo 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I would say thats a steal. Come play-offs when SD is a lock and they sit LT, you will always have LJ trying to get the Chiefs the upper hand. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251583
FantasyPhenom 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I'd look to upgrade the wr cause with GB offense u don't know what ur gonna get. Maybe the hype of colston will be enough to just push him over the edge on the trade.
Fearsome 22 Posted November 7, 2006 Thanks for the help...Former LA Rams fan here...still and STL fan...Once a Rams fan, always a Rams fan! I think if you can get LJ by giving up Addai, FWP and Colston that is what you should do. Kepping Driver and Boldin is a must for your depth. I think Colston is the weaker WR out of that group. Also, keep Green. He is starting to get hot.

Worst part of winning the Superbowl was seeing that dirty cont put her hands on the Lombardi trophy. Ewwww. I see you point about the WR's... but with Favre throwing 15 foot high rockets, and Jennings coming on, I'm a bit concerned about Driver. Think I'd rather have Colston going forward. As for Green, yeah... he's coming on great, Hell... I would rather have him than FWP at this point. Pitt plays a nasty schedule weeks 15 and 16. Not a good time to have him vanishing on ya. Thanks! Cherry Man 0 Posted November 7, 2006 i would have to say that it would be a good trade because you said that he was coasting on lj big games and giving him1 or 2 ppl that dont have that game every week would hurt his team but still boost your team a lot thanks for answering mine... PudgeDawg 0 Posted November 7, 2006 I am going to agree with the majority here...if you can get LJ off of this guy...you have to do it...convincing him that he is improving his ENTIRE lineup is the key. thanks for mine!
Wiserman20 0 Posted November 7, 2006 Not for nothing but... LJ and LT on the same team? I don't think any league would even allow that to happen... at least mine would veto that in a heartbeat.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251608
WKTSWAY 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I agree with everyone...try and get LJ...getting rid of FWP shouldn't be a big deal since you are trying to stock up for the playoffs and you only start 2 RB's. Thanks for helping with mine.

Seriously. Any league that let's that trade happen is ridiculous. If that retard actually gives up LJ, welcome to the championship game. bunnerjk 0 Posted November 8, 2006 LT and LJ on the same team is scary and I don't think you are giving too much considering the rest of your team. I would try to hold on to Colston though, he's a monster!!!!!!
