dalie 2 Posted November 8, 2006 Like many I seem to be getting the shaft from Sea on SA and would like another solid RB for the playoffs. Any ideas on ideas of which RB I have a shot at, or can expect to get, for one of my WR's. My team is in my sig. so as you can see I am not desperate for a RB, so will not give up the world for one, but am interested in a 1 for 1, or 1 for 1 + Lamont. What do you think? I know a lot is dependant on the other sides situation, just a hypathetical.
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Jordan is worth almost nothing now. I think you'll have to include your other backs .. may Fred Taylor + DJax for Kevin Jones ... Thanks for mine..

Terror 0 Posted November 8, 2006 With C. Taylor, R. Brown and A. Green your not too bad off. I believe what your probley looking for is a true stud RB. I feel that it would take two things to get one. An owner who does not know the value of his players or one of your Best recievers and one of these three Running backs and some luck. You have one of the best IDP in Bullock. You may try to use him as well. You only use 1 there are plenty of good Defensive players to pick up off FA lists to replace him. If you try to move a really good reciever it may not be worth the trade. You would then be wanting another good reciever and my not have time to get one. WKTSWAY 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I think you should stick with what you have. Those are good RB's, plus you may have SA back in time for the playoffs. Thanks for mine.
Wiserman20 0 Posted November 8, 2006 That is a solid squad especially this week with Donovan coming back from a Bye against Wash. If your looking for a stud thats over and above what you have... your talking in the "obtainable" realm of maybe a Tiki, Jones, Portis etc... no one in their right mind would give up an LT or LJ at this point IMO... Going forward... in order to get a back like that you would have to give a back for the loss and and another well performing player... there really isn't a WR in the league at this point that would go 1 for 1 for a "stud"... A lot of this is hypothetical and more information may help us out... What is your standing in the league ( with Donovan I am guessing your probably doing decently) What are your options? Thanks for the response http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251608

Thanks for the response http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251608 I am a fairly disgruntled 5-4 team in 3rd place (8 teamer) but 2nd in points. I've had some bad luck with teams who's nobodies come in and rip off career games or in week 4 or 5 when Roy got hurt on the first series vs the Vikes and would have won if he just got 2 catches for 20 yds (easy for him). So as I said in the first post I am not desperate for any change, more just thinking, especailly if SA comes back good. I have far more depth then any other team, esp WR.
