darkjedi 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I generally try to avoid starting players against my own DST. This coming week I have a couple of conflicts and am not sure which way to go. I would usually start H. Ward, J. Scobee and the Saints DST. This week, however, the Steelers are playing the Saints. I could start the Texans DST, who have been playing surprisingly well as of late, but that then creates a conflict with my kicker. Starting J. Hanson is not really much different than starting Scobee this week. What do you all think? Any thoughts on playing against your own DST? Should I start Ward against the Saints or should I Start the Texans and swap kickers? Or do you have another suggestion? Thanks. Leave a link
slpbaseb12 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I usually have the same problem, I also don't like to start guys against my own d, but I thought about it and is just a conflict of interest. i don't like to cheer against both guys... If you think about it, a single player can still have a good day while the defense dominates. Your kicker could rattle home 4 FG and that doesn't necessarily mean your d is gonna get hammered. Look at SD/Cle last weekend. My chargers d score 12 points, which is pretty good for a d, and the Cle K Dawson had a career day. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251749
Go long 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Go with what you usually do. Ward, Scobee, and Saints D. Just hope for Big Ben to throw 3 int's and 3 TD's to Ward. It has been done before. Thanks for mine.
mkuz 0 Posted November 8, 2006 i would still go with the saints D against big ben. he is aweful right now which im sure you know, owning ward and all. kickers are kickers and unless ward fumbles like last week, which is rare, those big ben ints wont count against you. also...houston is gonna get dominated by jacksonville. mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=251539&hl=
