hagler 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Standard performance scoring-------NON-PPR We start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE My team: QB: Vick RB1: Portis/Betts RB2: Julius Jones/Barber Bench: A.Green/Herron WR1: Djack WR2: L.Coles WR3: Mason/Reggie Williams TE: Watson The other team: RB1: Lundy RB2: Addai/Rhodes Bench: Deangelo Williams The OFFER: A.Green & Herron for A.Bryant & Deangelo Williams I give up A.Green, but can go with Portis & Julius Jones (with very capable backups) the rest of the way. A.Green's schedule not friendly to RBs the next 2 weeks: Vikings & Patriots. I gain A.Bryant ---- better than Mason or Reggie Williams A.Bryant's schedule next 3 weeks: Lions, Seahawks, Rams-----weak pass defenses.. I also get D.Williams for a backup RB---could become a factor for the Panthers. The team I'm trading with now has to decide every week between Green, Addai, & Lundy.....fairly equal considering schedules. I am in the middle of the mix in my league, fighting for a playoff spot----- Other teams will not give me a decent WR for A.Green.....Is A.Bryant worth it? Is this a good trade for me-----Give up A.Green, but improve my #3 WR--Please help! I'll answer all links. Thanks.
Wiserman20 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Im with you all the way on your view of the trade. Although Ahmad has been playing well as of late.. his strength of schedule is extremely tough especially against the Vikings and the Pats. Also... Williams and Mason are not performing. Williams looked good early but Matt Jones is taking over as of late and his numbers are down the tank. Mason has not scored a touchdown yet and Billick has made a point that the Ravens will control the clock with the run and play D. Bryant is on a very poor San Fran team but with the schedule upcoming... he may see a lot of throws his way especially this week. Take Bryant as your #3.. go with JJ and Portis.. Please see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251886
ozguy 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Its a very even trade, but I would so no, as Gb seem to be improving as their younger guys gel. Wiserman20 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Must have answered you while you were answering mine lol... I agree with you about Tiki but... B.Jacobs hogs the goal lines so unless Tiki runs rampant ( which I highly doubt against the Bears)... he wont get but 7-8 points. He has one TD this year and I need 15-20 this week from both my starting backs... I'm playin LT and FWP....
jerryskids 7,037 Posted November 8, 2006 It may not be the best you could get for Green, but it improves your WR position so I say do it. I'm presuming as you said that you have exhausted other avenues. In the absence of alternatives, a win-win does not suck. Here's mine.
-bp- 0 Posted November 9, 2006 If you can't get anything better then go for it. With the RB's you have you'll be fine.
RicoSuave 0 Posted November 9, 2006 Id say do it. I like Bryant a lot and I dont trust the packers. I would do that trade although Williams may not have a huge impact. Thanks for answering mine.
rdub15 0 Posted November 9, 2006 i'd most likely do it as well, Bryant is a decent pickup and should help your WR corps. you have good RBs so no need to keep Green.
