I saw Casino Royale last night...Really enjoyed it, however

I was disappointed in the Poker game. Maybe I am nitpicking, but when you are betting, if you put your chips across the line, they need to go into the pot. Le Chiffre kept moving a handful of chips across the line, but only putting in a couple of chips. And professionals do not splash the pot like both Bond and Le Chiffre did.

And the final hand, with all four players all-in, they would determine the side pot of Bond and Le Chiffre before determining the main pot of all four players. And that would have taken all the drama out of the scene

But I am nitpicking. Daniel Craig was excellent as Bond and the scenes between him and Judy Densch were brilliant.

I love Bond, and I love Hold 'em poker - however....

I am a traditionalist. Though I know the goal of the writers were to make a contemporary piece, I think Bond is his "coolest" when playing black jack.

A "real" Bond would have never sat down that long and played poker. He would walk into a casino, play one hand of baccarat, win that hand, then nail the cocktail waitress in his comped penthouse suite.

Saw it tonight and my balls and stomach are still aching from that chair/big knotted rope scene.

 Yes! I had planned on taking my kids to see it this weekend, but after seeing that scene, my 10 year old son is not ready to see it. OUCH!

I could of done without another Texas Hold Em scene. Bacarat is cooler just because it is so much more mysterious and less for the huddled, unwashed masses.

Daniel Craig was perfect. The opening sequence was spectacular. Great flick. Ran a little long and I'm not sure the final 20 minutes rang true, but that is just nitpicking.

Loved it.
