Add/Drop Help: Survival At Stake, Need fresh Look At Roster

Recommended Posts

Trying to get over dropping Romo a few weeks ago and not picking him back up in time (had about 5 injured players at once), so I could probably use some good advice. I have squeeked into the playoffs but I am determined to make a good run at it, the lousiness of my roster be damned.

Any advice on adds and drops - a fresh look at my roster is what I need.

Problems: Bulger's gone to pot with Pace out and now he has broken ribs; I will likely start him against ARI but that's it. My WR's have been a disaster.

[edited]: Currently I am looking to add Young/drop Bradley, and will add Booker/drop Broncos. I may also add Harrington/drop Garcia. Keeping Caldwell because next week NE gets DET which should be a nice passing matchup. Will likely start Holmes (vs TB) over Edwards; Hines Ward is injured for perhaps two games maybe longer and even though Nate Washington's starting this matchup seems too good and Pitt will want to get something out of its no. 1 pick.

Alternatively, I could just go for it (what I have no idea):

add Young/drop Bradley

add Harrington/drop Garcia

add Booker/drop Holmes

add Bengals (vs Oak at home wk 14)/drop Broncos (wk13=Sea, wk14=SD).

I have carried DeAngelo Williams ALL year (even at the expense of Romo) and after last week's game apparently it was for nothing.

First off Young is not gonna help you at all, Bulger is an excellent start this week at home against Arizona. I would drop Bradley for Jennings who has been solid for most of the season, Bradley is a huge gamble every week.

Caldwell plays Detroit this week, not TB. Solid match-up!!!

I would just keep the Denver D instead of dumping them for Booker, he won't help that much.

You need help at #2 RB but Fargas or Morris aren't gonna help too much.

It's hard to overcome injuries, letting Romo go just might be the demise of your team!!!!!

Dump Bradley, Denver D and Even Holmes. If it's not a keeper league, then Holmes isn't worth having. Pick up Young, Henry and Booker. Young is coming around, although I would only start if Bulgar had a BAD matchup, and Henry and Booker are every week starts over you current WR 2&3 options.

every spot is fairly solid just not really your WR spot i would drop bradley and holmes and consider picking up henry and jones. i like the upside of those two better than the two you got, plus i think its just a matter of time before jones and gerrad start hooking up more often like they did in buffalo this past week

I like Henry and Jennings at WR, I like them a lot actually. At QB I'm in the same position you are, stuck with Bulger...Most of his problems are because of the line, so he really shouldn't have problems against Arizona's defense. IMO start him this week but pick up a QB to take his spot in the upcoming weeks. I'd pick up Cutler and see how he does this week, and maybe start him next week, he has some good matchups coming with Arizona, Cincy and San Fran. Young could be a good choice, but last week was his only good game this whole year...good luck.

Keep Bulger at QB and then try to pick up Henry or Jennings since I think they'll be better than Caldwell or Bradley. Moss might also be a good start against Houston. And Denver is better than cinncinati so I'd just sitck with Denver.

Good luck

Thanks for mine.

Keep Bulger at QB. consistant and no turnovers.

Jennings and C Henry are both nice options at WR. Jennings has Jets/SF/Det/MIN 4 HORRIBLE pass D's. And Farve likes him.

Maybe Morris as short term fix. Brown will be back.

Any defense playing Oakland will get you points (multiple sacks, at least one pick and less than 14 points). If you can add and then drop Cincy just for that purpose I would.
