McNair at QB this week? Or.....whom else? Pls read, I will answer yours

Recommended Posts

McNair is my backup, been using him since McNabb went down, with UNDERwhelming results.

It's either him or pickup one of the following:

Joey Harrington (home vs JAC this week)

Aaron Brooks (of all people, home vs HOU this week)

JP Losman is there also but with the Bills facing the chargers...forget it.

Charlie Frye is there also, but he couldn't score 1 point against the Bengals Def (?!)

Others still out there are Alex Smith, Garrard, Gradkowski, Brad Johnson, Jason Campbell, even Jay Cutler.

PLEASE let me know your recommendations, I will gladly answer your post.

AIR Mc Nair will fly tomorrow night aganst the leagues worst pass DEF.

Keep him this week and keep an eye on Cutler.

Pick up Harrington - he's hot right now - but start McNair this week, who will have plenty of offensive opportunities against the Bengals.

Definitely start McNair. Harrington should struggle a bit with Brown out as opposing defenses force Morris to beat them - starting with Jax, who still have a pretty good defense when they decide to actually show up for the game.

Consider grabbing Cutler, or the hot Harrington (though I think he'll come back to earth this weekend), as back-ups. Especially if Cutler does reasonably well versus Seattle this week, he could be a VERY sneaky pick-up for the fantasy playoffs. Weeks 15/16 Denver plays at AZ and then home vs. Cincy, both potentially very profitable fantasy games, especially that home vs. Cincy for what most leagues have as their Super Bowl. If you have the courage to play a rookie starting his 4th game ever against a playoff contender, you could reap the benefits big-time. =P

Good luck, and thanks for the help with mine.

I would agree with everyone above.

Mcnair is a decent play this week as you saw I also am probably playing him.

I do also like what Joey is doing Miamis offense. They did lose their RB though so it may be a little tough for joey this weekend but down the road their schedule aint too bad and he may get some chances to shine. Go mcnair this week and leave options open down the line.

I would say Harrington. You have to think past this week. Brooks is not someone you want to rely on, and Hou every so often has actually showed up when they think they have a shot; this is probably just such a week. The others? No way.

I could use some advice mself. Thanks.

Very Interesting

I have McNair in at the moment but am very concerning about the rain tonight in Cincy

Also have Harrington, A.Smith, and even Cutler.

I will play matchups with these 4 for the rest of the season

( I played Charlie Frye last week against the #32 ranked pass D Bengals, how did that work out for me?)
